I hate playing Palace

Cruel that, didn't deserve to lose the game, lions share of the possession, created more chances and had a good 10/12 chances to win the game, just not clinical enough.

Once again, players simply not caring. They are not LFC fans. None of them.

I was fully aware we would lose at some stage this season, but didn't think it would be to these. The worst bit is seeing that smirking toss pot pardew, gonna tell everyone how he got his tactics right, and how great he is. F**k sake, if we had a striker on form, they would have been F***ing buried.

The team isn't fit enough that much is clear. Klopp wants us as the fittest team in the league - we are well off that. It will take time but why on earth were we not prioritising this last year when we were in Europe? It's just irresponsible from the previous management - weak.

There comes a point when we need to stop blaming Brendan for our defeats. Although I will never forgive him for some of the crap he bought.

Can was appalling, Moreno screwing around. Shame about Clyne and Skrtel - didn't deserve to be on the losing side, nor did Ibe. Lucas did alright, the rest were just irresponsible.

Palace defended fairly well in that we didn't really create too many clear-cut chances. We were exceptionally sloppy in the final third and, frankly, our typical defending gave them two great chances to score and they did. No one to blame but ourselves.

Well I'm going to give the thread a miss for a couple of hours, give those fans who insist on calling all our players C***s at the first opportunity the chance to vent. A little bit of perspective needed, we lost a game which could have gone either way 2-1. Sometimes it happens.

Well Klopp and Buvac the Brain will have learned a significant amount about our players from that game. Palace were quick and physical, it was a good quality game overall but we didn't take our chances and could have created more with all that possession. Kick in the teeth but onwards and upwards. If there's one man to give this team some steel it's Klopp!

I hate playing Palace

First half we were better. Second half we were suicidal. Playing end to end football after we played only a couple of days ago in Russia suited only one team today and that was Palace. Naive in the extreme. We should have controlled possession and thus controlled the pace of the game. I have no doubt in my mind we would have got a point or three if we'd done that.

I feel really bad for saying this as well especially as I'm not at the game but the fans were really poor today and I'd say contributed to the result. So so negative, constant grumbling and moaning and that did F**k all for the team.

Anfield let the team down today. Badly. Even worse when you see them traipsing off right in front of Klopp's eyes, some of them all dolled up in their Rita Sullivan gear as though they were out for a bit of midweek shopping. What has happened?

We really really need to buy some players in January who know how to score a F***ing goal, this is getting ridiculous now. We are doing everything right apart from shooting and scoring at goal and the more we miss the more confidence the opposition gets. As irritating as it is for us fans it must be driving Klopp and his staff absolutely insane.

Not too downcast, I always thought that a defeat would come after a Europa League away, I have no doubt that given time Klopp will get us a fitter, leaner goal scoring machine! He is right to play a strong team in Europe, we've done enough criticising of Rodgers for not taking it seriously, if we're in it we can win it!
Jürgen will learn more from this defeat, than he would a win. I believe!

I've not been blaming Brendan for defeats, I backed him as the manager to do well but it's clear to see that I don't think we are capable of so many games over a prolonged period. It's important for Klopp this season to lay the foundations, get a good fitness regime on the go and we will be able to tackle these games with a bit more vigour and confidence.
