So is your spelling of the word 'embarrassing'. How about letting the mods do their job instead of coming on here and demanding that threads are closed. Sick of people doing sh*t like that lately.

Anyone would think it was a forum rule to post in every single thread open whether you want to or not.

Well this is obvious rubbish, unless Klopp's pulling power is unreal. That said, the board would probably say £42 million is far too much, while the transfer committee bellends offer Jon Walters and sign him for £35 million.

Didn't he already say he isn't going anywhere ? But then again so did Judas before rent boys came calling. Can't see it happening but I'll be annoyed if the arse sign him

Kinda hope we don't sign him. Klopp said he wasn't going to raid Dortmund to reunite with ex players, it rarely works out as you would hope. I'm not keen on managers that bring the same players to each club, reminds me of somebody. Somebody that will bring both Joe Allen and Fabio Borini to every club he manages until the day they retire.

It's clear that Klopp has an eye for talent so I'd like to see us get that kind of player before he gets a £40m price tag slapped on him.

Biggest difference. Between Klopp and the previous incumbent.
Wouldn't mind if Klopp brought some ex players in given their calibre.

Indeed, I'd compare Klopp's talent spotting to that of Aussie Red's, just different types of talent. Both are top of their game though and I appreciate the work both do for the good of the rest of us

      DORTMUND RULE OUT DEPARTURES

Borussia Dortmund will hold on to all their key players in the winter transfer window, club CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke said on Tuesday as the club looks to build on a fine first half to the Bundesliga season.

Speculation regarding the future of midfielder Ilkay Gundogan and striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been mounting in recent weeks, with the Germany midfielder recently saying that he had not yet decided whether to extend his 2017 contract.

"I can rule out transfer of any of our top performers now," Watzke told reporters at the team's winter training camp in Dubai. "That's definitely not on our agenda."

Wave a chequebook at them, see if they feel the same way in the summer.

I'd pretty much hand over our transfer kitty for Hummels and Gundogan. And throw in Aubameyang if Klopp wanted him too.

One for the summer. Utterly top draw material. Would fit in like a dream and just imagine a front two of a fit Sturridge/Aubameyang. 50-60 goals a season for the front pairing alone. Sounds like footballing heaven to me. We paid 35m for big Andy and nearly the same for big Ben, so surely a similar bid for guaranteed goals is a no brainer?

We probably got him for less than £30M last season but of course we wanted a lamp post!

Nah, we'll spunk £50 million on something like Carlton Cole instead.

Utter madness. Sell some of our dead wood though and JK won't have to worry about the TC controlling the purse strings too much.

When you say someone like CC, does that mean as good or slightly worse 😆

      Sorry. But couldn't resist...
