It went from pissing down rain, windy as F**k and miserable, to clear and sunny in the space of 2 hours! That's just like Melbourne!

100% on Stevie G. I don't think he misplaced one pass and he was pinging them around all over the park. Magical.

Riise was a very underrated player. Miss him badly... a young Riise would shine with Klopp.

He wasn't that underrated mate, honestly. He played a lot of games for us and used his right foot about twice in his whole time here. Had a shot, worked hard but also frustrated the f**king life out of me. To be fair, though, we haven't had much better since.

Made up for you boys who got to see that yesterday.

I know you can't support them in the flesh very often but I notice everyone when your up at stupid 'o' clock watching the games on TV game in, game out no matter what form we're in.

Well done to all the aussie lads looked a great day out , was thinking when watching some great singing and noise , one thing though them damn halfy half scarfs popping up down under, I know it was a bit of an occasion but it still grates me another team on a scarf with ours  , I just don't get it .

Enjoyed every bit of it , and the atmosphere was a beautiful celebration.

I too was at the end where  Rushie and Also scored. Was a sight to behold.

If Digger and The King were also playing, I would've been in hog heaven however it still was brilliant.
A friend got us in to the hotel where the players were staying and got to stalk a few of them from a distance. Icing on the cake.
