      Good performance by most tonight.

Ibe was poor and Benteke should of buried the 1 on 1, which is a shame because he played well.

      Never a foul.

You missed a couple more chances out.

      😊

Don't want to knock the lad too much. He may lose some of his ability...

What the f**k is it with you lad?

The players that you defend staunchly and bicker with other people on this forum to the point where it reaches borderline ridiculousness the lengths you go to are Benteke, Balotelli, Moses, Sterling, Johnson notice a trend there? Have you got some sort of complex lad support players on their ability and their contribution to the club and nothing else.

      FFS it's so blatant.

What? Why anyone would let race dictate their judgement of players is beyond me. Utterly strange.

No. The trend is created because I tend to support Liverpool players, where as certain posters here love to pick a name out of the hat and forbid them from playing for Liverpool. I'm never part of the witch hunt and appeal for reason.

Benteke had a good game tonight. He played really well, he just didn't finish the few chances that he had. The only clear cut chance was the 1v1. Had to score, and has to be held accountable for that miss chance. Other chances were nothing special. Much like Sturridge, Origi, Countinho, and others. Players miss chances. They don't always score. With Benteke, every miss is exaggerated.

All of a sudden he's utter rubbish. No class. No form. Just nothing. Apparently. Now I don't take that. The overhead goal he scored against Utd is forgotten. Intentionally. It goes on and on. I'm sick of it really.

Sadly the witch hunt clouds judgement. Fans look for the errors. Glad to see them so they can place another mark against the player. Not me though.

He missed at least 3 sitters and countless half chances, but yeah why let the facts get in the way if your agenda.
What's the problem of stating the obvious, Benteke has been sh*te, you won't be a lesser human being by observing what everyone can see!

      Don't sell yourself short.

He didn't put away those chances. In terms of Liverpool Football Club therefore he didn't have a good game.

why not explain to us how Benteke had a "good" game . his job is to put away the chances created for him so its fair to say his finishing or lack of it cost us the game.He hasn't scored in about 10 or 11 games and he must have had 10 chances tonight many of which he didn't even hit the target.

If that's how a "good game" is determined... Benteke did not have a good game. Neither did Sturridge, Origi, Ibe, Tex.. Coutinho did though.

he had a shocker he missed chance after chance after chance and its now 10 or more games since he scored no other player has been on a run as bad and every commentator be it BT or SKY scratch their heads at is inability to be in the right place. If their was an award for being in the wrong place at the wrong time he would win it.

Sturridge didn't play centrally, plus he set up for chances a couple of times. If he had played centrally, we would be playing Blackburn.

Seriously? If Sturridge was running the centre we would be playing Blackburn?

Really bad week, a draw and two defeats, but this was a real kick in the nuts after the way we played.

Wrong team imo, but they played well enough to have won this game. Very hard to take after the way we played.

Game changed for me when Carroll came on and they started playing long ball. We handled it but we were always stretched from then on.

Sorry, I can't let this absurd accusation go unanswered.

You do know that I was one of the most critical players of Sterling right? I mean.. have you forgotten? I took the flak from most on this forum because Sterling at the time was flavour of the month. Right I was, but hey ho, we forget that now.

Pretty sure he is black no?

Why pretend to misunderstand what I've put? It's not rocket science. As in central striker.

I do know exactly what he means, that's the problem. He's wrong.

Sturridge is a Striker, and he played centrally. He didn't score though did he? The clips clearly show Sturridge playing centrally.

Oh but... that shows I'm right so... ... ... ... ...let's dismiss the evidence.
