What a player he was , another outstanding free transfer and when fit was one of the best CBs in the league , shame knee injuries ruined his time with us

Shame about the injuries could have been considered one of the best. His partnership with VVD was by far our strongest.

Love the guy, one of my favourite CB's that's played at the club in my time. Class act on and off the pitch. His outbursts on the pitch were hilarious and when you see other videos/clips of him in training or playing some sort of quiz game with his team mates is when you notice how funny the guy really is.

Would've been a fantastic signing if we paid 50m for him nevermind getting this gem on a free.

Gonna be a huge miss as we've seen already this season.

So the club have an announced a legend will leave at the end of the season. Could be wrong but i think he was Jurgens first signing and what value he has been.

I will miss his smile, his effort and his rampaging runs forward. He truely is a character. He contributed greatly to all of our successes during his time here and i wish him the very best for the future. A quality centre half.

Loved him. Great player and even greater character.

I'll miss the bollockings he used to give oppo players when they fell over looking for a foul, the mad runs he used to make and that big smile.

Not a bad free transfer Great player, complimented VVD well, graceful on the ball, got the odd goal.  Was injured more than some others, sure, but still, played enough to have a proper impact, as a first starter when fit in our best team in decades.
