I checked our and our rivals remaining league games. I have to say ours look less tricky, I know it doesn't mean they will be put here goes,

      Liverpool have,

      Spurs

      Man U,

      City,
      Leicester,
      Spurs

      West Ham

      Chelsea,
      Arsenal,
      Leicester

      Man City

      Man U,
      Chelsea,
      Arsenal.

Considering this, we should be pushing for a CL place now.

The 'easy' games are Liverpool's 'hardest' games.

We're more likely to beat Spurs at home than Southampton away at the moment.

There was a top 4 thread somewhere - it's probably fell down a few pages because we probably agreed a few months back it wouldn't happen.

Palace haven't won all year and for 70 minutes today they looked better than us.  We won which was great but we needed a defensive mix up and a pen.

We won't finish in the top four.  We're not consistent enough and I can't see Arsenal or Spurs dropping at least half their remaining points.

PS. We've also got to play Chelsea.

I'd rather us play City, Chelsea, United and Arsenal every week to be honest. We seem to perform against those teams and not the 'lower' teams.

I agree, we just aren't very good against teams that sit back and counter :(

The question is when do we play Palace and is Dwight Gayle fit?

We need to treat every game till season end as a final.

After the Saints game on weekend, we'll have 6 home games and only 3 away ones. And those 3 are against Bournemouth, Swansea and West Brom which are all pretty much winnable. Win the game on the weekend and we should easily stay unbeaten for the rest of the league campaign, hopefully securing at least 24/30 point that takes us to 68 points. I think that tally would be enough to get us a CL place comes May.

What and ride our luck for 90 minutes then lose on penalties?

Our home form has been so so this season, so I don't think having more games at home will be much of an advantage unless the supporters turn it into an intimidating atmosphere like in the 13/14 season for the remaining games.

There are no easy games in the PL anymore, I have more confidence that we will beat Spurs and Chelsea than any other teams we face, such has been the nature of our season.
A win for Utd over City will probably be best for our CL ambitions, but we still have to beat Southampton and win our game in hand to make it count.

I just can't see us doing any damage in the league to be fair.

Our best hope is the Europa.
