Delightful football for the most part this half. Fast fluent and for once we got a couple of good goals too.

Lallana the unsung hero today. Has done very well in the middle

We've been absolutely brilliant. Dejan having his wobbliest game since his return (more Range Rover than Rolls Royce today) but even then has been fine. We can only beat ourselves by taking our foot off the gas second half.

Superb half. Could've been even "superber".

Tadic is pissed if he thinks that's his thrown in after he rolled it out.

Great performance after a slow start. Only disappointment is we didn't score more to kill the game.

That 10 - 15 minutes around the goals was superb.

Can't wait until we can do that type of pressing and counter attacking for longer periods of the match next season.

On the penalty, for me Long steps into Lovren completely on purpose and initiates the contact. I'm old school, and if you're running behind someone and they change direction in order to ensure you run up their @rse, it's their fault not yours.

I know I always say it (even when we get given one like Benteke's last week), but the question ought not to be "was there contact", it should be "was there a foul?". On this one, Long clearly steps to his right to ensure contact with an at full tile Lovren, therefore no penalty. Not in a million years.

Great first half from the lads,plenty of pressing.
Couple of nervous moments from dejan so I'm glad sakho had the boss half that he did.

Was thinking the same mate sat here watching the game then up pops that fckers face what a thing to see on a sunday afternoon.

Joe Allen on this form is a starter every week. Best player out there if you ignored Coutinho, he's controlled it, he's pressed correctly, arrived in the box when needed and definitely deserved at least one goal, one his fault to miss but after fantastic work from him and the other from big mama getting caught offside.

Coutinho has been truly outstanding, some of his passes are so cultured it's impossible to defend against, his goal was sublime and really does look like he's ready to take his game to this level on a more consistent basis and in doing so claim the world class tag he's always looked like he could be.

Some fantastic football from us, Origi doing some brilliant work up top and really looking like he can develop further. Exciting times this lads and it's a joy to watch us with such good organisation and such a clear plan when we attack, top stuff.

It's the game intelligence of Allen, doesn't run for the sake of running.
