Probably be out of pocket more than the buying team because I expected will end up paying him off or paying a large contribution to his wages. Usually how we do things at this club.

I was behind the signing of Mario, thought he would do well for us but unfortunately I was wrong, somewhere in that shell of Mario is a decent footballer, one that will realise his potential once he retires...

All the best where he may go...

He'll be too busy being a dick elsewhere to worry about what could have been.

Besiktas president says they don't want him. Keeping Mario Gomez is their goal and they are doing everything they can to keep him. Until they know Gomez' situation, they won't be moving for anyone.

Come on, China. Make a bid! Just £50m and he's yours!

Even £5m will do. Anything to get rid. But, obviously prefer £50m

Honestly don't know why we aren't trying to offload him to an MLS side. He'd be perfect there, should suit his lifestyle as well.

I think we would want a fee ... which to be honest, they wont be able to pay

They would actually! Since the transfers run primarily through the league and not the clubs, MLS would pony up some cash. Maybe not for Mario given his history, but for someone else they would.

It wasn't the T.C's finest hour that's for sure and it's no F***ing surprise (to me anyhow) that yet another manager has blown this simpleton off.

He should never have been bought, said as much at the time. He was never going to come good because he doesn't have the work ethic.

Would his arrival have anything to do with enforced transfer budgets and/or buying potential and squad players with the monies received for the likes of Suarez and Sterling?

Honestly, at this stage I think it would just be simpler to terminate his contract with us, wish him good luck and show him the door. It's obvious his reputation precedes him to such an extent no one wants to buy him.

      Why wish him good luck?

He didn't give two fucks about playing for us and never deserved to wear the Liverpool shirt.

Good riddance I say not good luck.

Not when it's about someone who possesses neither.

If someone pissed on you would you wish them good luck as they walked away?
