What a way to start the day.  Off to work now.

Games like this just make you realise why we put ourselves through it.

Believe that's their first loss of the year.

Also if I'm not mistaken, we've put as many goals on them in two games as they had conceded since the turn of the year.

Slag Milner all you want and boy his corners are guff but there is no one better at crossing in our side and assist for goals excellent

it was just those dead ball corners.. straight to the near post every time..and on to a defenders leg or head.
From the open wing and free kicks his delivery was much better and his cross for the winner was inch perfect..
but his corners! jeez!

He is so much better on this right hand side though. Went missing far too much in the first half, to be fair to him it was in efforts to be everywhere so it's a criticism and a praise. Needed more discipline but some of the stuff he got right was fantastic and that cross at the end buys him oodles of praise. Hopefully it was a little bit in anger at The Kop giving him stick for those shocking corners because it was an absolute beauty and worth the wait!

Massive credit to wee Joe who I thought really did influence the game a heck of a lot when he came on. Can again in the second half too, so much better, whatever Jürgen said to him at half time really worked.
