2 points off West Ham and 5 off UTD with a game in hand on both. I'll take that.

Lucas has to go. He has no pace, fouls continuously and has no vision. Yaya as his replacement.

One post and a sh*t one at that.

That was more nervy in the second half than it should have been, we have to become more clinical in fornt of goal, but considering it was more or less our B team I thought it was an excellent performance.

Just saw that west Ham managed to snatch a draw form the jaws of victory as well, all in all a very good weekend of footy, just wish the villains had managed to hold Manure to a draw.

Not really, given the inexperience and youth of these lads, it shouldn't have come as a surprise that they came under pressure at times this match. They don't have the experience or stamina yet to fully deal with 90 minutes.

That will come eventually, but it was definitely a deserved match because they dealt with it as well as possible in my opinion.

A bit more sharpness from Sturridge and it would have been comprehensively deserved.

      Show some pride people..

We made 10 changes, including a debut for a goalkeeper who performed very well. Quite a few inexperienced players on the pitch today. 3 points in the bag.

*Brendan Rodgers voice* I am delighted, we showed great character

1 in hand mate. we go 2 behind them if we win it.

Its why that Southampton loss really sticks like a knife in my back.

Throw away a 2-0 lead    We'd go ahead winning the game in hand.

Nice away win today with a young team. Any away win in this league is good.

Now let's crush the blueshit come Weds and keep the big Red train rolling  :kop5cf8koxp6:

I didn't see any of it (still busy with the new bar) but to win with a team of kids and subs is a bloody good effort. Already I'm casting my mind back to games we should have won earlier in the season and thinking "if only". I'm absolutely convinced that we are one of the best teams in the league.
