I voted for Firmino but yeah - considering he wasn't even training a couple of days ago then massive praise for our Emre.

Firmino was definitely the other stand out contender. Involved in all three goals directly, he had a brilliant second half in particular. Counter pressing from the front as usual was excellent. Was a close call between the two for motm but I couldn't believe Emre was playing let alone putting in such a fantastic performance over 90 minutes.

You notice these teams like Dortmund and now Villareal that after they lose the match and look around Anfield they just stare like WTF

There's a supposed 'Spanish football expert' on Talk Sport right now, surname's Gibson. Said Villarreal are more like the the traditional Spanish team and Sevilla are a lot like Atletico (incredibly good defensively and look to counter). I think he got the teams mixed up

My two sons were at the game tonight and they phoned me before it started but I could hardly hear them . European nights are special at Anfield and rather beautiful when it's cold and dry  as well .
