We host Chelsea in our last home game on the season, do we go full strength then rest players against West Brom on Sunday ahead of the Europa League Final?

I'm guessing Klopp will mix it up a bit on Wednesday, then rest a lot of players against West Brom:

Hard to pick a team for this one but I'd leave Toure, Can and Sturridge out of the side and keep them 100% for the final.

In 2005 I remember us resting players against Aston Villa on the last day of the season with the Istanbul final 10 days later.

True but it isn't the last game of the season so if we rest the Basel starters and play the same team as yesterday on Wednesday, who plays next Sunday, 3 days before the final?

Allen and Lucas can't play 3 games in 7 days, neither can Toure or Flanno and the youngsters definitely can't.  They barely play 3 games in a month at youth level, they just wouldn't cope, despite their age.

Migs, Skrtel, Ibe and Benteke would be ok as keepers don't really need rest and the others have barely played recently.

It's a tough one but I'd expect a strong starting 11 in this then they'll have 7 days rest for the final.

I agree, got to give the team to face Sevilla a run if no other reason than to keep them ticking over, too much rest is not good.

What is wrong with Toure? No other better centre back other than Lovren.. he is better than Skrtel and Illori, Sakho is suspended and Caulker must be rusty now. Lucas is not a defender and using him as one is not okay in important games. He gives away too many fouls as a DM, I don't want that in the penalty area. Lucas as defender in the long term won't be much different from Skrtel.

Its quite an important game to win if we want to secure European football next season, bloody annoying that Spurs rolled over on Southampton. last game of the season and they put in a half arsed display, that's some way of thanking the fans!!

Anyway strong team against the chavs, its certainly a winnable game, then rest the entire team for the West Brom match and hope we can nick a win, to be honest West Brom are fairly sh*t at the moment so that's a winnable game for our B team.

Top 4 is CL, FA Cup and Capital 1 Cup get 6th and 7th so if Palace win the FA cup we need to finish 6th or higher to qualify (unless we take the 5th CL spot)    If the scum win it we're ok in 7th but would be playing qualifiers in July.

The only time there are more than 3 go into the EL is like West Ham last season for the Fair Play place.

Nah mate. There are only 3 Europa league places available. So best available use would be 5th, 6th, and 7th.
