I'm still waiting for De Gea to pass it to our attackers though.

Don't know a footballer that hasn't sliced a ball before and, although not a corner, De Gea has given the opposition a throw in his own half and passed to the opposition midfield, both by foot and throw out.

It almost defies physics, take a goal kick and knock it out for a corner.

No dressing that up at all.  :lmao:

It was an error, no one is saying it isn't, but it's also just a sliced clearance to the right back area. Name me a keeper that has never sliced a pass.

In his defence, there was an attacker closing in on Clyne, or whoever he was passing to, and that distracted him, it's still a howler but better to slice it out than pass it straight to the attacker.

Guys, I know I posted that clip but it was just to laugh a bit about it and it was missed by the camera.

He has improved a lot and everyone slices a ball, if you haven't then it means that you have never played footy before.

2nd straight clean sheet, looking more comfortable each game (despite that kick). Good signs.

Still should be number one. Anyone calling for Simon to be brought back in is the definition of insane. We know through years of poor performances that Migs does not work. We cannot tell is Karius is good enough yet and a few bad games in his first season doesn't say sh*t, just ask David De Gea.

Keep your head up Karius, but for the love of God Jürgen get some decent coaches in to help him not the lower league pish we have now

Plain and simple, he was a complete shambles today. Fingers crossed he goes back to his better self next week.

Absolute shocker today but I do think dropping him now is a bit insane unless Jürgen's completely given up on him (which I don't think he has). Going back to Mignolet doesn't make much sense really.

There's no doubt that we need a new keeper though.

Klopp will probably give him time till the end of the season or so before deciding whether to get a new keeper in or not. If you watch the highlights of Karius at his former club, you'll notice that he's not very good at catching the ball.
Personally I would bring Mig back in the team right now but God helps us if he makes a mistake. We'd be in a big crisis.  :(

So it looks like Karius isn't that great either. But neither is Migs. They're both better than Brad Jones was though. How's that for some positive thinking silver lining?

I miss Pepe Reina so much. The people who moaned about him and his apparent bad form need F***ing off. A Reina on his worst day was a million miles better than what he put up with now.

Karius and Migs. Neither command the area, prone to making mistakes, dodgy distribution.  When was the last time we sat back after a match and thought the keeper did great there and saved us those points.  Karius has done nothing since he got here, and today lost us the game at the end. F***ing annoying that after seasons of Migs, we now have to watch Karius doing the same things :(

Said a few months back his handling is poor. Like shooting against a wall the ball bounces out of his gloves as fast as it is struck. Thats not going to change really, his handling will always be like that. Looking every inch the low fee we paid for him.

His handling though ia one of the poorest in the league. Not even a question about it.

He is being scapegoated for today - for sure, his performance wasn't good but think of the clowns who were in front of him.

Can, Lovren, Lucas - absolute dog sh*t and its no wonder we were conceding shots when they were all over the place.

Not at all. Two goals were his fault. One was literally entirely his fault.

He's getting blasted and rightly so. Not good enough for Liverpool FC that.

The defenders between the attacking player and the 'keeper on at least two occasions was a F***ing embarrassment, that in itself lets Karius off.
Instead of standing there doing F**k all if they would have just fu**ed off and given him a free view he could have affected matters more than the F***ing scarecrows we have as a defence.

      2-0 up and beaten 4-3??
Questions need asking, scapegoating is not an enquiry it is a negative reaction.

This is what happens if you buy Keepers at knock down prices, he is quite simply not good enough and I don't think he'll improve. You can excuse a keeper for not handling crosses and/or commanding his area in his first season, those things can be learnt, just see De Gea, but a keeper either is a good shot stopper with quick reflexes or isn't and Karius very definitely isn't.

As much as it pains me to say it we have to go back to Migs until January then go and spend silly money to get someone good, if we don't we have no chance of winning the league this season.
