That's it, Hodgson, carry on playing Sturridge out wide and make him drop deeper more!!! I'm liking this so far. Iceland are very industrious too! I'm liking it!

Pick players on reputation and cram them all into a formation that suits none of them. Well done Owl!

There's not a leader in that England side. Since Stevie left there's been no one to really carry and lift the team.

He is such a w**ker and has lived of his reputation since he was 21-22

Making him captain is the footballing definition of shooting yourself in the foot.

I'm enjoying Iceland's display, England look, as all Roy's teams do, lacking an end product! Has Roy been found out, at last!

      A truly appalling performance.

Nothing happening in a positive way, and my goodness we are slow moving. Playing Sturridge on the wing is doing my head in.

This is what happens when you play your second best right back, an attacking midfielder in CM alongside a striker and an inexperienced DM expected to do all the work. Plus you throw your best striker on the wing and a player who's put in 2 successful crosses all season on the other wing. Not to mention the striker you're playing has lead in his feet and is clearly jaded. 442 with Vardy and Sturridge up front would wreck teams.

Joe Hart has faced 7 shots on target and 4 of them have gone in.

Looks like England will be leaving Europe yet again this week.

Oh and now lets take off the actual DM and play an attacking midfielder there now instead. You can't write this sh*t.
