Midnight and an LFC game is 4 hours away.

It's not bad if you're on eastern time as most games are between 7:45am - 12:00pm.  Those on the left coast are stuck with some 3:45am kickoffs though.  Kudos to the ones who drag their asses outta bed at that hour!!

East coast here. All games are between 7:45AM and 12:30 PM. Really not bad for us over here, actually enjoyable. Only issue is drinking with the games can lead to a few "you're turning into an alcoholic" comments here and there. Or back when I was in college and would pass out drunk in my twin size bed with a girl at 3 AM, then wake up at 7:45 AM for the game and watch it on my laptop in bed unable to get up, while trying not to wake her up.

Usually led to some pretty unhappy customers in the morning.

Hey! I got the first half lineup 10 out of 11, only missed Ejaria for Ings.

2nd half is way off because most of those guys aren't even in Pasadena. Think the club kept that quiet until people were done buying tickets?

About 45 minutes away now. I thought of recording it and sleeping until 5, then waking to watch - but when I do that i don't sleep well at all. I will only sleep 4 hours anyway, so at least I'll be able to sleep knowing what happened.

hoped for a slightly stronger line-up too but going to be brilliant to see how Grujic gets on here as I think that midfield will be severely tested. Also our first look at Klavan in a red shirt.

As an American, on this relatively empty forum, at this hour, with a game about to start and me wide awake, this sums up my feelings:

Should be interesting. Karius and Mane as well. Chelsea went with a decently strong lineup:

Willian Loftus-Cheek Moses

Should certainly be a very good test for Ejaria, Stewart, and Gruijic though going up against Fabregas, Matic, and Loftus-Cheek. Also finally going up against a decent backline and keeper will be great to see.

1-0 Chelsea. Cahill header off a corner. Grujic and Firmino didn't look too great there. Karius didn't stand a chance.

You've got to be smart and block the run, Cahill is a beast in the air though and did well there to be fair.

Can't wrap my head around our marking style there. Looked like we couldn't figure out if we were man marking or zone, but either way it was a sh*tshow.
