The boxing was quality yesterday. I was watching Joe Cordina being interviewed after his win and I kind of got distracted by 2 guys in the ring going to war on each other :D.

think it was the lad from Namibia he was like an angry wasp it was brilliant. No headgear now so need to watch out for the sneaky headbutt

Probably a good idea boxers like Victor Cruz aren't involved then.

4000m team pursuit and it should be against the Aussies and it should be a world record with about .5 of a sec between them at the end its going to be epic.

Is this track cycling? I can't find it on the tickets page. Perhaps they're using a different name and I'm entirely ignorant of this sport.

This is the tickets website: https://ingressos.rio2016.com/rio2016.htm?token=B1A3E55D50AFAE82066904BB67F10914&pass_through=RDITMZFsA_bHREroMVoVbvS6SDXyiX4EBgbr41g9Nhd1vogLIF3GC4Q7HVklvZYWHGUEaxYdpqi_MmDPjXMoNQ&affiliate=OGF&language=en

track cycling and I thinks it starts Thursday after the road events finish. The Velodrome atmospheres are just incredible it is gladiatorial stuff and the noise incredible. the Kierin is one to watch a race which riders start behind a motorbike which builds up speed before leaving the madmen on bikes to try and kill each other at 45mph

Thanks mate I think the one Wiggins participates is called Team Pursuit, is that right? If so then tickets are still available and I have nothing for that afternoon, I'm seriously considering buying one.

I agree with Walton, the atmosphere inside Velodromes is special! Can't wait for track cycling to start. Ye, Wiggins races in the team pursuit.

Hannah Miley came fourth in the 400m medley but I bet you won't find anyone who tried harder than she did to get a medal she missed it by a finger nail thickness 15/100th of a second

Top 4 in a 6 team group go through! We'll be fine :D

Men's hockey should win the Gold and the Women's are still a good chance of getting on the podium.

Just came here to say that. I always remember watching the road racing in Beijing and she was heroic on the climb for Nicole Cooke's gold medal victory and for her own effort in the time trial which got her a silver medal! although I don't think she's cycled amongst this lot for a good while having gone to triathlon. If she's fit and firing then she'll be a massive asset for Armistead as well as her own prospects. Regardless, a proper, selfless team player.

I wish they'd stop saying that these rugby 7's matches are going to be close. I've watched 5 matches so far and they've been absolute batterings despite the host on BBC saying they'll be exciting and close.

Pooley bombing on as Armitstead had to stop, Pooley clearly didn't know that she'd stopped.

Armitstead giving Harris a telling off for not helping her with closing the gap. Rightly so, Harris was doing bugger all apart from coasting in the middle.

no radios I guess but I cant believe both Pooley and Harris hadn't been told to protect Armitstead very poor team work GB.
Watching the Canoe Slalom looks great fun but it must be a bugger on the upper body.
