Sometimes you feel the ref should offer a TKO.

I know it's only Hull but this is as good as I've seen us in a while.

      Outstanding all over the pitch.

Agreed, we could easily be going in 6 - 0 up and I don't think there'd be anyone saying we weren't value for it. Scoreline flatters Hull at the moment, who have been sh*te, but we've made them look sh*te. Our movement is up there with the SAS days, perhaps even surpassing it in the relentless stakes. Each memeber of our attack is willing to make the run for the other man, they're willing to be provider as much as they are wanting to score themselves, exactly how I personally love the game to be played.

Can't comment too much on our defence but Hendo is having another excellent game, he's bailed Clyne out a couple of times on sloppy play, great to see.

If anything, we look better without an 'out and out' striker.  Lallana looks a different player to the one we signed a couple of seasons back.

Beginning to feel sorry for Hull (not)... Lets take real advantage of this and get Can,Grujic and Origi on and try and get some match fitness and sharpness into them and protect some of the players... Can't see Hull city coming back and the more players we have up to speed it can only be the better for us...

Yeah, I was disappointed that Sturridge didn't start, don't think we have missed him tbh. :)

I think dropping Lallana back has given him a little more room and he has just grown as a player since then.

Surprised you like Milner to be honest mate. Thought you would be one for silky skills and Brazilian technique. I do agree with you though.

I like silky skills and Brazilian technique as well, of course, but I actually have been a fan of Milner for a long time! One day I was bored and did some research, there are posts from me on this forum advocating his signing since his Newcastle days :D He's not a genius and should not be the focal point of any team but he's a very intelligent and hardworking player that more than makes up for anything he lacks. A great player to have in the squad and I'm finding him to be a really good left back after all!

That's as comprehensive a first half drubbing as you're ever likely to see in a top league match.

Excellent, really good stuff, and shows quite clearly Klopps philosophy of fluidity, with players constantly interchanging.
The movement off the ball has been excellent, and we are finding plenty of gaps even against a packed defense.

Now keep your foot on the pedal lads, and grab a hatfull.
GD might count at the end of the season, so get as many as you can.

I missed the last 5-10 minutes and will miss the 2nd half due to family commitments, but I'm so pleased with this performance already. No way we don't win this now, and comfortably.

I know Klavan made a mistake with a pass to Karius once but up to that point I think he was doing very well. He either won or anticipated quite a few balls that helped us sustain the pressure on Hull by keeping possession of the ball in the attacking half.

The front 3 interchange so much, we almost play with 3 strikers

In all honesty I never really rated Milner before he went to Citeh and always thought of him as a journeyman player. Surprised me a little at Citeh and even more since he came to us.

It goes without saying we are just going to get better and better, we have a winning mentality riding alongside an air of confidence, I know it's early doors yet but we are most definately title challengers, our next major hurdle is scum at home, we win that then we will be in a race between ourselves and Citeh, at least, we are becoming very difficult to beat and have a advantage of a relatively light season without Euro football,

I have a very good feeling about this season, more so than usual. And, for some reason I just can't get this song out of my head........

"We're on the march with Jürgen's army" anyone else got the same kind of vibes ??
