Thought we played well throughout the game but we needed a little bit of quick thinking to go in front as some of the crosses that were going in were too delayed or too slowly floated. Sometimes they weren't even going in at all. Maybe we were trying to walk it into the net a little bit at times too. But thankfully we were able to pick up possesion again when things were broken down by a very typical defensive Sanchez Fulham. It's good that's the only small downside. We seem to be playing with more confidence now and the passes are coming off more often than not.
Nice to see Crouch getting some more time on the pitch and he was unlucky with that header in the first half. He's had more of an effect than Kuyt was having before he was 'dropped'
I think Kuyt will come back better though while he's been sitting it out. Can't have any slacking off if we want to stay around the top of the league. Which is why I think Riise could do with dropping. Not sure about anyone else but he seems stale. Doesn't ever seem to be playing better with each game he plays. I think his days are numbered.
Everyone else seemed to play well. Defence was solid and calm, midfield was able to get up and cause problems - Mascherano was getting up to the by line once or twice!! Voronin and Crouch were decent but I would have liked to see Voronin running ahead of crouch rather than running behind him. All the subs had a positive effect.

and the dirt has gone it's in the back of the net!! Love it. He's definitely our danger man up front. Good to see him back. Nice pen from Gerrard and good play by Babel and Crouch leading up to it.
Three points off the top for now and back to winning ways. Good stuff!
