Don't like all this talk me. Rather be quietly confident. This from Hendo and what Mane has been saying helping their team talk if you ask me:

There is too much hype and us beating them very comfortably. The form goes out of the window for this game. Also, remember we don't like playing on Mondays. We have lost Lallana and Gini for this match so two new players come in. Also, we are usually cr@p after international break.

I am not as bullish about the game as all of you. Hope we win but this 5-0, 4-0, etc. is just too jingoistic.

Henderson and Mane are saying too much already. The players should not be allowed to say anything to the press. Hope it doesn't come to bite us in the ass.

You're not the only one mate. I don't like how it's been everywhere that we will beat them :D. Usually there is a few people that think we will get beat but I've not seen any mention of them.

Whatever the form this WONT be an easy game.

They will be just as up for it as we will and they do carry a threat but I feel first goal is massive tonight, if we get it they will shake and we should be able to get at them easier.

Someone wake littleface up so he can give us the team.

Agree with what you and a few other reds have said  about keeping quiet regarding the papers & keeping your gob shut as it can sometimes leave you with egg on your face & as you say it gives the opposition extra incentive, always been a believer in 'doing your talking on the pitch'myself, but I'm quietly confident of us beating this lot tonight & I recon mane will terrorise there back line and bag one.
Going for 2-1 myself ...come on Redmen.

Seems like a looong time since last game, can't wait to get it started :)
We're favorites (based on form I guess, not based on money spent), but at same time don't think we'll be complacent. Utd have good players, most vivid recent pain-in-the-arse memory is Mata putting one over on us when we didn't expect it (and SG getting his marching orders), what a dogs dinner that turned out to be.
But this is where Jürgen comes into his own imo, we have a style we're comfortable with, and the manager will have them at it ... though if the players themselves are not wound up for this on their own, they'll never be. Atmosphere should be electric with 8 thousand more fans than normal roaring (hopefully) them on.
Maureen is a dogs turd, would love nothin more than to send him and his band of merry todgers back after a good scalping.

Quietly confident.  But not going to make a prediction, leaving fate alone just for now.  Just cmon ta f**k lids !!!!!!!!!!! :) YNWA

Over on the shitecafe 22% predict a victory for us, 17% a win for them and 17% a draw, seems they are as confident as us that we'll hammer the fuckers.
