Can being too slow on the ball atm, could do with waking up a bit.

Already seeing Can is a defensive mid. Not quick enough to play with a crowded midfield and caught on the ball but made a couple of interceptions from reading the opposition well.

Is it just me who feels Emre is a little bit of a plodder in the midfield? Wijnaldum looks a more natural fit in the middle to me.

Anyway enough evidence so far that we are still our own biggest danger from goalkicks and restarts and for a Liverpool side, there ian't actually much pace in the team.

It's not just you mate. He's slow and he's ponderous. He could get away with it when playing in a back 3 because players would give him all the time in the world but he's neither fleet of foot nor sharp of mind enough to play as an 8 in our system. Wijnaldum (or Milner if we had a proper left back) would be perfect for the role. Emre on the other hand would be good cover for the Henderson role.
