As much as I enjoyed having Luis he fu**ed off when we needed him most after spending the 3 years he was with us trying to engineer a move away.

People tend to forget that he tried to F**k off whenever he was presented with an opportunity,including the previous year to Arsenal;not sure he`d even agree with the swap.

After Kenny, Luis is the best player I have seen in a liverpool shirt so I have voted for him.

I think Luis will play at the top level till he's in his late 30s. He's one of the physically fittest footballers I've ever known and isn't reliant on pace at all. No contest for me, still adore Phil though.

I'd have a prime Steven Gerrard over Luis personally, nothing he couldn't do on a football pitch at his peak and he put away 20 goals a season.

As for the opening question, would do the swap without a seconds thought, Suarez is just something else.

Coutinho for me, although I loved Luis while he was here, and still do, but he's gone. Absolutely fantastic player, but he didn't want to be here. I'm more interested in the here and now.

I love Luis though, best player I have seen play, but like others have said, i feel he has peaked when Phil has more to come.

In an impulse I clicked Coutinho as he's fresh in my head, but Let's be honest, Suarez is one of the top 2 players in the world

Suarez was great for us and is even greater now. He (scarily) looks a yard quicker and even more powerful to me in 2016.

I love Luis but I sort of go along with this one. I'll take Coutinho. Not because I believe he's a better player but because he has worked hard along with the coaching team and his team mates to reinstate Liverpool's level equal to and arguably above that of the team Suarez played in three years ago. Besides, Suarez had his time here, he chose to leave so that should be that. As things stand, I wouldn't change a thing.

I think I got over Luis's loss once Klopp signed for us last year. He's a memory now rather than a yearning desire (not in that way)! It was far more important having a great manager at Liverpool FC than having a great player and I think Jürgen is proving that this year.

As much as I hate all the talk of Cou possibly going in the summer I'm quite confident, if it does happen, that we'll have a plan to not let it be devestating.

It's another head scratcher this...I like most would almost cum in my pants whenever Luis strutted his stuff and it's true he is a one off,  probably one of the best players to Don our shirt, however, he's gone and is now part of our history,

Phillllippe is now and the future, he is evolving wonderfully into a truly world class player, our player,  I don't get ppl thinking he's off next summer, we're done selling our big players,,

We as a club are on the brink of a golden era, the players know it we know it, and under Klopp Cou knows he's the manager who will get the very best out of him in the system that suits him to a tee,

With a heavy heart I voted for Cou cos he is the here and now and the future.

If Coutinho, really insisted on leaving, Liverpool could command a really huge fee. In all honesty hope it would not come to this, especially with Jürgen Klopp, at the helm. Suarez made it clear that he wanted out. All things considered I would stick with Coutinho.

If all this Coutinho going to Barca business actually turns out to be true then we need to push for the swap!

No - as great a player as Luis is, I don't think we need to do anything to disrupt this team.

Luis Suarez....quite simply one of the very best players i've ever seen pull on a red shirt, I think Coutinho will also be a tremendous player for us but for now my heart says luis.

I think if you approach this from a more sentimental point of view you might say that Luis left us blablabla and so you don't want him back. Seems to me like a pretty childish way of looking at things, but I guess it is somewhat valid, as long as you don't delude yourself over who's the better player, because the answer is Suarez.

So since sometimes I'm a childish, sentimental f**ker I would say I'd keep Coutinho because I love the kid and even though I don't hate Suarez or anything like it, I'm over that story.

However, if my life depended on winning the title this particular season, I would go for Suarez in a heartbeat.
