I think we've been poor to be honest, given the opposition and their lack of ambition. People cry out for playing the youngsters week after week, but games like this show  how far away they are.
Some of the seniors have been poor too, Origi very ordinary, Moreno and Can disappointing.

We need to be a little bit careful, we could get beat from a set piece while we're f****** about.

Plymouth would have to get near our half for them to have a dangerous set piece.

Our play is soooo slow and predictable, nobody looking for a little one two or running off around the edge of the area, nobody trying to drop the shoulder, nobody who looks like they have a hit in them from outside the box.

Seriously if any one of Firmino, Sturridge or Lallana had played that first half I think we'd have been two or three up.

Some of us enjoy watching the youngsters. Calm down Mick and enjoy

They have to learn, and how better than a game like this, with no real opposition... Plymouth are playing for a replay, and the extra revenue that entails, or hoping that they can sneak a goal from a dead ball situation   

Sit back on the edge of the box. One line of four, one line of five, fastest player up top, keep moving along the line and wait for a clearance you can get on to. Run into space and hold it up for support. Rest of you, nearest to the player with he ball, close him down, stand him up, then double up and make him play backwards or sideways.
Stay concentrated, keep calm and let's hear loads of talk and support out there.
Make sure they don't get in behind from the wide positions and charge down any expected long shots. We can hold on to this, get the draw and take them back to ours.

There you are, classsic team talk, we've all heard if you've played a match against a team from a higher level than yourselves !
