Gutted for him that he won't get the winner's medal he earned, after massively contributing to the 26 points we won from 10 games, but he can be proud that he had an unbeaten league record, keeping the title race alive, finally beating Forest away from home, and adding to our trophy cabinet. Imagine what he could do with a full season in goal?
Sure he could move on, but he won't get the chance to win a league at Wolves, or Brentford, or Brighton, the way he would here. If he stays on, there's no reason why he can't be the undisputed no. 1 down the line, and finally get the medal he deserves.
