That's what happens when your defenders defend your midfielders midfield and your midfielders support attack

3 pts get the f**k in.

Might even get DanMan to stop complaining for a evening at least!

Ah yes. DanMann complains when we lose games and play badly... shocker.

Curtains for Wenger after that loss.

He is completely bereft of ideas and seems to have fallen out with fan favourite Sanchez.

Really happy with that win, but that makes the recent losses even more frustrating. Just look what the lil' fuckers are capable of! We make fun of all the so called title contenders and top four competitors, no other top team comes close to the numbers we put up against the top four. It's not so much a lack of quality (in the starting eleven), more a lack of willingness to put their neck on the line against the smaller teams. Frustrating.

Great game by Firmino, Mane and Lallana. Even Can was much impoved and had a decent game overall.

And that's what I absolutely love about Wijnaldum, 90th minute and that will to get forward and still making that incredible run at the end of the game, getting on the end of that ball and finishing it that sweetly, that's brilliant.

A good win and it was good to see some urgency and fight in the passing and tackling.A well deserved 3 points.

Super 3 points, and deserved it.
Arsenal deffo improved in 2nd half after a poor 1st with Sanchez coming on, but never really got on top enough to get something from the game.
When we had more to do at the back 2nd half, we defended well, Matip & Klavan had a decent half, though Migs somehow still manages to spread concern.
We won it in the first half, and for that Mane is my MOTM, so quick strong, and good finish.
Timely switch to take Cou off for Origi, who looked sharp at the end. Nice ball in and then good finish from Gini.
If only the whole league could be in the top6 :)   Need to try and keep the momentum going now and try stay in the top4.
      Good evening.

Good question. I expect "no-one" would be the answer there... but apparently, this proves something.

If this was Sturridge who played appalling for game after game (I know you'd be in shock that he played), and only bothered turning up against the top 4 or 6 as we call it... what accusations would be fired his way? (go beyond calling him "lazy").  So why is it that Firmino can turn up against Arsenal today and we applaud him for his brilliance? Klopp needs to sort that out. Of course, it's not just Firmino. Too many of the lads choose who to put the effort in against, and that's a serious issue within the team.

Bobby seems to be a big game player, I hope he can get the consistency we badly need, starting with Burnley.

Fine margins. Thought him and Klavan did very well particularly when you consider they had Mignolet (no conviction in anything he does) and Can behind and ahead of them both as well as a badly out of form Clyne.

Now for the love of god, batter that BNP lookalike Sean Dyche's side.

Still asks questions of whether he will be replacing Firmino.

Firmino was always going to play today, and did really well in that 1st half. Deserved his place in the team. But drifted more and more out of it in the 2nd half and made several wasteful touches as he over complicated simple football.

When it comes to those upcoming games against the likes of Hull, Leicester, Swansea etc... Origi has to be knocking on the door to take Firmino's place. Firmino has been poor in each of those recent games, and Origi is right there showing he has class too.

Competition is good. Need more of it.

Coutinho was sh*te, if Origi is to replace someone it should be him.

Also I was going to give Mane the MOTM until that utterly superb piece of football by Lallana in the midfield in the run up to our third goal.

Mane and Lallana just utterly supreme.

To be fair on Wenger, Giroud has a good record against us. I could see what he was thinking.

Great win lads! Lallana was unreal, so was Mane.

I'm confident about the Burnley gam  (yes seriously). We are at home and our record is strong against the so called lesser teams, only Swansea have taken points at Anfield I believe in the league

Is Lallana the most improved player in the PL?

He seems to have moved from a good player last season to just below world class this season.

Lallana my MOTM today show his experience well, and the way he held up the ball for the last goal was awesome.

Along with Mane, he's been our best player this year.

I'm talking future starting lineups, and I mean as a Striker. Fine, Firmino can take Coutinho's place... but I don't want to see Firmino playing as Striker with Origi on the bench in those other games like Burnley.

I agree, we need more prolific goal scorers - Coutinho and Firmino were utterly wasteful tonight.

A real striker would have buried those, and I'm sure if Origi had the same chances, he'd have got at least one of those.

Delighted with every one of them in that game. Lallana & Mane were not human, babies will have been conceived to their performances today :D.

I just wish we'd play that good against the likes of Burnley & Sunderland.
