LFC to play in post-season friendly in Sydney

LIVERPOOL FC have confirmed Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher, Daniel Agger and Steve McManaman will be apart of Jürgen Klopp’s Reds side to take on Sydney FC.

Liverpool are set to play a post-season match against the Sky Blues at ANZ Stadium on Wednesday May 24.

Former captain Gerrard, Carragher, Agger and McManaman will play in a team of past and present players to help honour the club’s 125th anniversary (officially marked on June 3, 2017).

More of a legends thing than a first team thing - which given the timing was probably the case all along.  Considering the first line of this topic was
