Eriksen has 17 assists in 3000(ish) mins mate. That's more than double Ox-Cs @ 1500(ish)... and totally ignoring his 8 goals.

He may rate higher than many Diego but Eriksen, sure as sh*t ain't one of them. 🙄

Are you sure mate? I was checking only Premier League stats and saw him with 12 assists. Perhaps he has 17 in all competitions? Not sure.

      https://www.premierleague.com/stats

In the EPL, Eriksen has 12 in 2980 mins, or 0.36 per 90 minutes.
Ox on the other hand has 7 in 1538 mins, or 0.41 per 90.

You play fantasy footy don't you Diego. If so go to the player stats in there...

      https://fantasy.premierleague.com/a/squad/transfers

      * transfers * player list * midfielders * ['sorted by'] assists...

      It's deffo 17 mate - why the stats differ F**k knows. 😁

The fantasy football ones are skewed though. On fantasy football players get assists for being fouled and goals being scored from the resulting free kick or penalty. Players also get assists if they're the last attacking player to touch the ball in the box even if a defender touches it after them etc.

Haha perhaps they consider different stuff as assists, such as a shot defended by the keeper in which the team scores on the rebound, or a penalty suffered by the player that is converted... I don't know. Only reason I can think of :D

They're from the same source [premier league.com]... F**k knows why they differ but if you say that the stats I'm using are wrong; I'll defer to your obviously superior knowledge on the subject. 👍

      Ah good aul Squawka...

Since we using Squawka as a source - did you know: they rate Eriksen 3rd [behind Hazard & Sanchez]... Oxlade Chamblerlain? 89th.

      I love Squawka. 😁

Ha ha ha... I remember it being derided as a sh*te source when it proved Skrtel's passing was better than Sakho's (who was flavour of the month at the time).

Sorry for straying off topic mods. Anyhows...

From wanting Draxler and Brandt to now targeting Oxlade Chamberlain... the story can't be accurate; can it? Our ambitions lie higher than this; right? 🤔

Skrtel's passing was excellent, Bad Boy.  He only ever passed it 5 yards to his CB partner or the keeper!  Couldn't miss...

i'm with you, i think.  Ox seems like one of those players Arsenal specialise in, who have moments of brilliance and months beneath the invisibility cloak.  That said, if he could stay fit for a season, who knows?

I think he'd be a good option off the bench, but I just can't see him displacing anyone that starts. To me, we need to be buying starters.

Rumors today linking us with Rafinha for 30mil euros. Think he could be a more 'stable' option than the Ox

Quality midfielder when fit, very good ball player and hard working, but I think he is injury prone.

Think we have shown quite consistently that our first 11 can compete with anyone in the league, the problems we have is when these 11 are not available or defences are packed behind the ball we struggle - buying first team starters may not be good thinking in all positions as the player being replaced may not stay to be a bit part - what is needed is 18 squad members all at a decent level who can perform to the managers brand of football

Realistically he's 15 million tops player, but he's young and English.... which adds 20 million on for some reason...

15m - you couldn't buy me to play for that.
City just paid 38m for a keeper, fees are rising rapidly.

Jordon Ibe is 15m in today's market...

Ox is easily twice the player.

Still don't want him, mostly due to his injury record, but the market dictates the prices and it is crazy out of whack now.
