Klavrn sh*t going forward we as good anyone in league even Europe but if we don't bring in one more cback next thing we playing can or young player never see play before why is manger going in new season still our back line is worse in league
Wouldn't say our back line is worst in the league. worst in top 5 maybe, but we probably have the best attack. We can't win the league like that but we can challenge for top 4 again. Even though it is not a trophy it is a nice revenue generator and sadly, FSG prioritize that.

Hence what me and KopiteLuke have been saying, it's the rumour going round the city at the moment, signing will be done by end of the week.

Don't think that will happen. Hope I'm wrong though.

It's just the rumour that's being doing the rounds over the weekend.

I'm staying hopeful we can get him as it's the one player we do need.

I'd like to think that with him at the back, we will finally have a rock solid defence again. Well with a few improvements needed and a much better keeper but you get my drift.

i heard that Southampton are lining up Wesley Hoedt for 12m. We should get in there before them.

How about we let them have him and we sign VVD?

Haha what a dreadful dive for Origi, he's gotta work on that in training. If you feel contact go down, don't feel the contact and then go down 5 seconds later!

Keep Hendo off of dead balls! He's never been any good at them!

Good to have got the equaliser and still to be unbeaten from a mental point of view. Dreadful game to watch though, Atletico are the master spoilers.

probably gonna be a deadline dayer. that's how they milk the most out of the saga. genuinely think the timeline for this revolves around publicity and what the league think is best to maximise attention.

For the life of me I don't understand why Southampton are being such massive tw@ts about this, its not as if we haven't been lining their pockets enough these last few years.

Probably just price and payment terms now trying to extract the very best deal for them.

I'll be bloody annoyed if we can't get this one over the line. It would give us a very good defensive unit for next season and for years to come. If we could also somehow get Keita, turned down contract extension today, then we really could start to look at the league as a realistic target.

It's the one I think we need the most, for all the talk of Keita, look at how many midfielders we got, but only having Lovren, Matip & Klavan, with Gomez as back up doesn't fill with the greatest of confidence.

Their whole transfer model is making signings like this to develop and sell on for a big sum.

Standing in his way just detracts from players buying in to that if Saints won't let them go when they have a chance to step up.

I'm an outlier but I don't think we get him. We screwed up when we apologized....now if Southampton really do want to force him to stay, they can because we've said we won't bid unless they ok it.

not sure, if its true that he refuses to play then why would they keep him, they'd have to be complete fecking morons in that case. He'll be ours by the end of next week.
