Deserved, and vital, 3 points!!!!! Delighted :)

But when we had a 3 on 2 break with 5 mins left, and NO keeper to beat, and we still didn't score ... thought our luck might not be in today. Thank God we held on.

Mignolet did well, so did Matip and Lovren who were strong in the challenge and in the air.
Wouldn't have taken off Origi, he was good today, and Danny didnt touch the ball. Thought Cou might go instead. Our front three were bit quieter 2nd half.

Milner should've made it two and made it a more comfortable day,  as should Moreno late on,  but all in all, excellent 3 points :)  'TP', go an stew in that you little geebag!

Remember saying to some one here that Moreno has no composure... hard fought win... invited pressure the last 20 mins, should have put our foot on the ball, and slowed down the game, played keep ball instead we kept knocking it up field only to have West Brom come back at us time and time again... Well lets hope that Chelsea can do the biz over Utd later

King Kenny once said, back in the day, if we can away at Luton (artificial pitch) we can win anywhere

This to me is similar. Don't care about City or Spurs, if we can win at West Brom, it's looking good.

      Firmino MOTM.

Not a chance anyone was better than him on the pitch.

Mignolet has cost us a lot of points over the last few years like but he's probably gained us 5 in the last week and deserves massive credit for that.

Yes, fair play to him. West Brom didn't actually threaten our goal, and Mignolet didn't have much to do all game. That makes it all the more remarkable that he was as sharp as a knife when called upon today.

Mignolet with a game saving safe when having not much to do, Firmino scoring a goal in a stodgy game and Can solid in midfield.

Win ugly is what we've always needed to do - we've done that in succession at Stoke and West Brom away this last week. Encouraging signs.

Steady on, Can had an excellent game. This is a team game, it's Liverpool FC - not just a vehicle for your favourite player.

That's the difference in quality, Alonso would have easily scored that. Did FSG see that? Time to spend big FSG.

It might be hard and nervy but when rivals win comfortably it is brilliant to scrape a win it really pisses them off.

Yep, they're the tw*ts that got Moreno.

Pathetic penny pinching strategy, and we dodged a bullet with such brainlessness today from Moreno.

Good battling win there from the redmen. Should of finished the game off with Moreno's chance. But all important 3 points. Not too sure about motm, but suppose could take a pick from Matip, Mignolet, Milner, Gini or Firmino.

Why is Moreno being compared to Alonso? :lmao: You couldn't pick two more different players to compare.

Away at Stoke and West Brom in succession , without our best players, and we win. When did this last happen?
