There's always somebody injured for big games! Our injury record this season is disgusting.

Aye for a team that only plays once a week we do have a very high attritional rate.

Another downside of having a tiny first team squad, players having to play through knocks will eventually break down.

As we always seem to be saying this is a must win.

Good call, I would go with that. Fire them up and that line up should be good enough to see WH off. But will Klopp see it that way.

Have a squeaky feeling these guys will let us down. I think it will be one of those matches where we will never get going. Even if Klopp subs, it will be too late. And probably Origi is going to start. That terrible first touch and that 2 seconds he needs to recompose himself after receiving the ball. Omg. It's gonna be one of those days today. I really hope I'm wrong. But this really isn't new.

Pissed of entirely that Bob can't make it. Even when he's not on top form, he does cover some ground and pressurises the opposition more than most.
Also, it minimises the effect of Studge , as I was hoping he would replace Origi, who as we know has been pretty woeful of late. Now with Studge and Origi likely to start, Studge won't  have the same effect alongside Origi as he might have had along side Bob.
All little snippets of negative, chipping away at our effectiveness.
The only positive is Hammers are suffering as many injuries as we are. Hopefully with whats left of the two squads, we have the better players  still up and running comparatively speaking.
Not over confident, but thinking we will get the win if the attitude is right. It's tough to turn it on, when the team mates you usually play with are not available, and you now have to play with lads you only usually play AGAINST in training. Professional or not, you're not always on the same mental wavelength in those situations.

Wouldn't have Gini or Origi in from Start  but suppose 1 will have to play now. Lallana needs to be in Midfield so Gini out for me

I can't remember the last time we scored early and just dominated for the whole game.

Big blow loosing Bob, although not been a goal threat recently, covers a lot of ground and links play well.
Still, I think Origi is better down the left side, so would still play Studge up front...

If we play Lucas/Can/Gini, we risk not creating enough like in recent games, and things could get edgy.
Don't see Grujic start, but he was decent when he came on last week, was positive in his play.

Have to assume Arse can win their last two, so have to win this one. No pressure

COYR now is not the time to go MIA we need a game from you today hope you turn up with your heads switched on and a clear vision of what is required a win and nothing else .

What I want to see:

- Lallana back in our midfield three. He brings the best out of Gigi and gives us some movement and inventiveness in the middle of the park. He has to play there.

- Studge up top. Has looked sharp in recent sub appearances so I would roll the dice and bring him on for the horribly out of form Origi who has stunk up the joint to the point where I'd get rid in the summer.

- these two changes would have us looking once again like an inventive side that created genuine opportunities.

What I don't want to see:

- Simply swapping Lallana for Origi and sticking with the same functional midfield against a team that will (if they have any sense) sit deep and try to sucker punch us like the rest of the league do.

Today Jürgen needs to be gutsy in his selection and assertive with his subs if things are not going well.

This exactly! And if it doesn't click by halftime, change things around. But at least Klopp couldn't be blamed for not trying.

Looks like burnout or emotional fatigue to me. Has this season worn you down? 
While I don't share the same skepticism, I can't entirely blame you for yours.
