You’re f**king boring. Top player plays for top club. Hardly something new is it.

The fact he plays with some unbelievable footballers and is still the stand out player, and has been for years, says a lot about his quality.

There has never been a footballer more dedicated to making themselves as good as they possibly could be.

The top teams have the most money, it isn’t a new thing and as Mags said, you’re coming off as bitter and moronic by refusing to even acknowledge that Ronaldo and Messi are even good players, let alone two of the greatest ever.

Peter Crouch, he wouldn't even have to jump.

Best player in terms of winning things off his own bat with a team not as good as the others.... Maradona. Won a world cup of his own bat with a team no where near the best in that competition. Won two scudetto's for Napoli (the only two) in an era with arguably the best club side (apart form Liverpool) of all time and well behind Juve and Inter Milan for starters. His technique has never been matched.

Ronaldo and Messi are two greats of the modern game but their legacy is greatly skewed. Messi's argentine side is far superior to the sides Maradona played in. Ronaldo's Portugal has only done it in acompetition where he had very little influence.

Even at at amateur level, have you played in dominant sides and crap sides? These guys play in absolutely dominant sides. It sin't because of them its the money and time spent developing these teams.

with out Ronaldo's goals Portugal would not of made it to the final, i think he had  much more than a little influence in 2016

He's hardly marching towards the sound of gun fire is he? I could really do without the narcissistic theatrics from him after he scores these goals. True greatness doesn't come on pure ability alone although it's fair to say his is probably the greatest on earth at the moment. But it comes while still maintaining a modest humanity that channels football's true egalitarian heart that recognises your team mates, coaches and supporters at all moments. Ronaldo doesn't have that, never has and never will. He exists as a footballer to serve himself and only himself. That is perhaps why he is the best footballer on the planet but it also acts as his major failing.

Remember the Spanish community cup where Ronaldo scored a goal against Barca and took the piss into Messi by copying the exact celebration as Messi where he took his shirt off and held it up? Seriously, what a w**ker!

Ronaldo is a good footballer but it is his stats that stand out, particularly in latter years. His stats are driven by the teams and money invested into those teams. His position is crafted so he can rival Messi at Barca, for pure marketing reasons from Madrid. Whereas Messi drives the team in the build up and also scores goals, Ronaldo puts them away with no defensive duties. His efforts for Portugal put his ability into perspective, no so outstanding then.

Real Madrid reminding me that you can win as many top trophies as you possibly can and still not be a great side.

Oh Bayern - extremely profligate in that last 15 minutes or so. Should have scored three only have the one and paid for it by conceding to Marcelo at the other end after a piece of poor defending.

Absolutely love Kimmich. I remember when he was Germany's best player in the U21 Euro's and I wanted us to sign him!!

I also think Bayern look the stronger team despite all the injures they have. Didn't know Vidal was out for the rest of the season!

I'll tell you that Ribery touch when clean through will cut him up tonight if Bayern don't win this tonight by at least two clear goals.

Wanted Bayern in the final, but probably going to be RM, if we win it'll be all the sweeter because I really dislike them.

These 2 must be playing some elaborate ruse to make us think they’re sh*t. Bloody hell either played like this against us we’d murder them

Been watching the last 10 mins.... are Bayern always like this? So slow on the turn and running slowly directly into an opposite player?  ???

To be fair to them they are without Alaba, Vidal and Coman. Robben and Boateng going off injured 1st half hasn’t helped
