If he's staying I'm more than happy but I want it sealed quickly. Even a 1 year extension gives us some clarity. Don't want this dragging on all summer.

Not often I believe in anything I read is true these days but on gut feeling alone I do believe some truth in the above. However, as in anything these days mind games come into play! Have they come out with this statement so the Oily’s will up their price? It would be a good move and the right move if they did.

Many of you lot now saying he’s passed his sell by date and no longer the player he once’s was so sell sell sell! I disagree, I still think he’s as good as he was playing before his injury, granted he’s been playing poorly as of late, he’s simply just out of form. Klopp leaving hasn’t done Salah along with his team mates any favours mentally and I’m convinced this is one of the 3/4 reasons why I’ve mentioned you’re not playing well as a team and not just Salah’s fault.

Moving along though I believe it’s the wrong move to keep him. At 31+ the 100 million + is an offer that should have the hierarchy jumping at the gun for. It’s a SNAP CALL! in poker terms. 😂  With what money you have a side along with 100 million buys you two quality players, maybe 3 if Sloth as good as Klopp for finding hidden talent at very good prices.

The four players you mention all bit of freaks don’t you think? Can Salah join this exclusive club? It’s gamble that I’m not sure you should risk given the money that’s been spouting about for him.

That’s sort of stuff is always selective to try and back up a point

It doesn’t show any of the chances that Mo has missed or poor passes from him


Mo is not untouchable when it comes to criticism and he is as culpable as the other forwards in the last month or so


That doesn’t mean he is fully to blame

It shouldn’t be a finger pointing exercise towards specific players - they are a team and they all take responsibility

Salah is playing in the UCL under a new manager. He's a competitive person and 31 years old is fine in modern football. Salah is not gonna retire early in Saudi Arabia

It would not only surprise me, it would pi*s a lot of people off ....He's been dismal for months...( and there's no point saying so have others...I know that, but this thread is the Salah thread)...Any noticeable upturn to the degree you suggest  over the next three games would suggest to me he's putting himself in the shop window hoping to attract multiple offers....it's a Slightly redundant point as it's not going to happen....it would be a sad day all round if he worked harder to generate a lucrative contract than helping the club win the league. Again...I don't think this will be the case.
