I've been saying that for a while now, Mo is a club legend, nothing less. Ever since he joined us he always made it clear that the most important thing for him is for the club to win trophies and despite crushing about every individual record there is to beat out there he always put the team first and put the words he spoke into action. He's about as professional as it can get, as competitive as you can get and always focused on the club winning.
Not long after Mo joined we were playing our first CL final in a while. The year after we were winning a CL. The year after that it was the PL. In between all of that we won pretty much every trophy you can win at club level and Mo was and is always an integral part of any success we had and will have. The reason I mention that is because I feel like Mo was/is one of those players that took us from being a pretty good team to being the real deal and despite him coming here with no experience in winning a PL or a CL, you could feel that he had that dedication and certitude in his attitude that we were going to win it all and he delivered.
Got attacked plenty last summer for bargaining for what is a well deserved raise in wages with some saying stuff about him that was beyond ridiculous. The man literally refused a pharaonic pay rise (sorry for the pun) when we've seen, this summer, the vast majority of players not even think about it twice and move on. Further proves how dedicated to the club this lad is.
