1 or 2 yes. But if you were to lose a Mo Salah this season you can’t replace him with Ben Doak this season. It’s not fair to Ben for one thing and probably harms him more than helps. Not to mention there’s no way he replaces the output you get from Salah. And we are likely going to need every goal and assist.

Exactly. This ball falls to another player and all of a sudden this pass is not such a sure thing anymore.

I think that there's also a very nice chemistry between Darwin and Salah. Even in preseason, Salah always managed to find Darwin who, to his credit, is always making a ridiculously dangerous run into space.

I know this is Mo's thread, but I also like that Diaz, this season, has added vision into his game. He lifts his head and looks much more than he used to do and this means he also passes the ball to open players much more than he used to do. All of this means that, right now, based on form, I think our starting front three should be Diaz, Nunez and Mo.

Lots of talk surrounding our Mo but once again, all you see is professionalism and top class performances. Another goal and had it not for Darwin being unlucky on the Cash own goal, that would've been another assist. Beyond the goal, it was also a very good performance from Mo. Pressed well, was dangerous, passed the ball around with flair and the little triangle we see between him Szobo and Trent is delightful to watch.

Salah is my favorite player, I think most who see my posts know this but for 300M we have to sell, if we can ensure we make signings in Jan and the following summer with the funds its a no brainer.

300m all upfront ... and a signed agreement they don't come back for any of our players in the next 3 years ala michael edwards and barca. I'd give that a few seconds thought. And then say no.

We need to challenge this season and get back in the CL. Selling one of the best players in the world, our best and most productive and consistent player isn't the way to do that.

It's a no brainer to keep him. The money will be on the table again in the the summer. Its upto salah then if he wants to compete in the CL and for the top prizes in the game in the best league or retire to pensioners league that nobody is arsed about.
