Best Kids Apps

Can anyone recommend some good free kids apps for learning and fun please for a 5 yr old.

Also any ideas on apps that can download from Youtube so they  can have things to watch on journeys when theres no wifi etc?

I've just come across the BBC iPlayer app for kids, really fantastic app and lets you download shows for viewing later plus you can restrict the age to exactly what you want.
