We got a bit of luck to see us through the group.

Can't complain about that draw, avoided Madrid and Atletico so I'm happy. W should definitely be looking to top that group, but I wouldn't take anything for granted. Mancs basically got a walk through, Chelsea should at least get second, same with City, Spurs are Fecked, And Celtic will have to aim for 3rd.

When is the first knockout round draw?

No excuse for not getting to the knockouts.

About time we had a bit of luck esp after the route had to get to EL final last year.

I'd love to put 2-3 past Sevilla at home and watch them try and sit deep when we go to they're place.

They know how to low-block/counter....this is a different squad to the one they faced off against in the final; and I think we can thrash them.

About as good a draw as we could have hoped for. 

Looking at the other groups:
-  United don't have a simple group.  A little bad luck could easily see them finish 3rd.
-  Group G is probably the most even top to bottom.  Could see any 2 from that group progressing.
-  City got an easy group and should have no problem progressing. 
-  Spurs have to be cursing their luck....

I think the whole of Anfield will be baying for blood when they turn up. I envisage wave after wave of attack...and them being torn a new one.

Sevilla is a great city (oranges, females, food) and I have nothing against them as a club, but this is definitely our opportunity to banish bad memories and restore some order in the relationship.

As long as we don't have Moreno at LB we should be able to thrash them. Still have nightmares about the EL final.

Decent group for us, no reason we can't progress through that, barring injuries of course, and the possability of half our squad putting in transfer requests in the next week of course 👿

Very happy with that group, we have every opportunity of progressing from that if not winning it outright. Spurs were the only English team with a nasty group, but even they should be able to get through.

In terms of making it out the group, as good as we could have asked for.

In terms of glamour, wouldnt have minded a bigger 2nd seed.

But most important thing is progression so overall happy. Also, the order of the fixtures is nearly perfect too.

Spurs are Fecked

As we've seen this season in our 3 games against German opponents, and when we played Dortmund - not entirely convinced on the quality of the Bundesliga sides v Premier League opposition.

Think Spurs will feel they could finish 2nd.  Probably won't like because of that Wembley thing but still, if it was us, then we'd think we could qualify from there.
