Anfield ready to conquer our foes. King Kenny's first game ;)

Jürgen Klopp leads Liverpool squad on pre-game walk

Roberto Firmino and Emre Can return to the starting line-up for Liverpool’s clash with Manchester United at Anfield this afternoon.

The duo replace Daniel Sturridge and the injured Sadio Mane in the XI as Jürgen Klopp makes two changes to the team deployed at Newcastle United last time out.

Subs: Romero, Blind, Lindelof, Tuanzebe, Lingard, Mata, Rashford.

Come on red men.  Let's have an Arsenal performance today not a Man City one!

Salah - you had a dip before the international break - that goal for Egypt should spur you on!

It’s ridiculous. We’ve been found out and we still persist with it.

Hopefully our long lost midfield is found today!

I think we will defend for the majority of the match, just can't see us winning the midfield battle. Look at Utd's "weakened" midfield, it's far stronger and balanced than ours. Just hope we can take our chances when we counter the fuckers.

Dont fancy us at all , if Im honest, then again Ive not had a football bet up for over a year so by that logic its 2-1 us. The legend predicts 2-1 so that good enough for me.

Well! The greatest show on earth is less than 1 hour away and fans globally will be tuning in for this one. Like most of us we're all nervous as hell but look forward to this match more than most. If you lads do pull it off I'm in for some stick  ;D. I'll be hung drawn and quartered and the Manc thread will come out of the  abyss and  into meltdown  :lmao:  Win, lose or draw i'll come on at some time to take my punishment like a man.  :D  If United do pull it off then being honest i'll be pretty quiet  as tempers ( understandably ) do boil over so no confrontation with me for those that do lose the plot coz this is the one all Mancs & Scousers want to win. Best of luck to all my Scouse friends but don't be too lucky  ;D

Hopefully a great game with a few goals.. Enjoy all.  :)  xxxxx:action-smiley-065:

See somewhere that the ref of this game is not our best friend hopefully we don't suffer by the f**ker.

Hope (and it's big hope ;D) the lads smash these fuckers, build up the confidence from here on.

      Right, aside from the lineup..

Looking forward to this. Regardless of the lads playing.

Firmino should get right at them. Frighten their players with domination and pace. Hope he gets a goal or two today! He's our Striker, so we need him to take his chances. Best game of his today. Mane and Coutinho to turn these over. They better be up for this - and on their game, their lads won't stand a chance.

Our midfield to dominate with Can bossing the pitch. Henderson flowing the ball forward down all channels.

Mignolet to be absolute and defy all who threaten his goal today. Clean sheet. Fantastic performance.

Our defence to be on their game, absolutely solid.

Every man out there has to go for it! We turn up. We win. We can take these. They're nothing special. This is Anfield!  :kop5cf8koxp6:

      We've got to win.

      I think we will (I don't why).

Something positive has got to happen and it may take a game like this to do it.

How's that, a 35million pound signing can't get ahead of an indifferent Can and Gini.

Just F***ing beat these mongrel cu*ts!

      Jesus wept, so much negativity.

This is probably the strongest line-up available today, would be better if manè or lallana were available but this isn't the worst team we've ever fielded

Not going to wish you any luck whatsoever as i know you will understand, just hope though that we see a classic encounter with of course a Liverpool victory......

Is Robertson Injured or something, gets motm for Scotland time and again yet can't make the bench, bizarre from Klopp, would rather have Milner than Moreno.

Would have gone with Ox today personally. Time for Can and Gini to step the F**k up and repay the manager's faith in them.
