As one of the lads said earlier in the thread we always play sh*t or near enough sh*t, after the International breaks but this one hasn't really affected us as far as fitness levels go so there's no excuse..
Most, if not all of our lads had relatively easy run outs for their respective countries in paint drying friendlies..don't think any were involved in any of the hard fought WCQ play off games? Lovren maybe?
So, there shouldn't be any weirdness as far as tiredness and fitness levels go tomorrow..
We are playing on home soil on the back of three wins on the bounce.
Forster is a giant in goal and played a blinder last time he visited Anfield so we need to keep him busy all afternoon.
Our front three need to make Van Dyke's visit to the best stadium in the world, a nightmare and put him on his arse.
They'll come mob handed in midfield tomorrow and that's where their main threat will be trying to feed the skilful Gabbiadini who'll be up front on his own no doubt.
The way the game of football goes these days it wouldn't surprise me if Van Dyke got sent off and Lovren scored the winner in the 89th minute
