How good is Salah though? Has any signing made as big an impact as he has in Liverpool's history?

Can't understand why the Kop isn't singing "Pharaoh across the mersey". Great finishing by Mo.

9 goals in his first 11 and a half league games for the reds?

Has to be some sort of record doesn't it?

Yep, it is mate (according to commentary rather than my memory).

Stunning and all that for a lad who really isn't clinical! :lmao:

Thought he should have scored with the volley from the Mane cross, but I can easily forgive him after those last two finishes, especially the first which was a peach.

As comfortable a half we will ever play.
Hopefully Mo goes on to grab his hat trick.

Thought we started slow, but you could see we were troubling them it was just Henderson was being so incredibly wasteful. Thankfully we bypassed him and things clicked into place.

Being set up nicely for Lallana to come on with 20 minutes to play, but as FMS says, we still have Mignolet in goal so 2-0 is only half a job done.

That first Salah goal was so Torres like. The best compliment you could pay to that strike.

      Effortless power wasn't it.

You knew it was a goal the moment he struck it, although I wont lie I thought Bertrand's hit was going in too :D

Mo Salah, what a signing he has been. 9 in 11.5 league games. Bet Roma wish they'd have asked for more than 35m now. I like how fluent we've been in attack. I know we're usually like this anyway but the runs in behind from Salah are making the defenders sh*t themselves.

Only negative for me is that I wish Mignolet would come off his line quicker. He stands and waits on his line until the very last minute and it sometimes puts the defenders under unnecessary amounts of pressure.

This ref started well but has since sh*t the bed so pretty much the usual.

He has something like 30% conversion rate, so I'll take that kind of non clinical all day ;)

Good half of football that, against a well organised, motivated, and feisty Southampton team.

More of the same 2nd half please.

2015-2016. Leading 2-0 against Sunderland and Newcastle. Mignolet proceeds to f**k us over hard in the second half. I mean who can forget him placing his wall to the right of the goal and out of the way for paedo Adam Johnson to score from a free kick? That's the level of dumbfuckery we are countering with here. And then there was the away match against Southampton that season - leading 2-0 at half time and then Skrtel and Mignolet conspire to put in a terrorising display to make us lose 3-2. So by no means over this. Because of Mignolet.

That no doubt will be their half time team talk. They may well blast of the start second half, we gotta be ready for it and kill them off on the counter.

We've been clinical and professional so far and with all the big name lads on the pitch we're a match for anyone in the division.

Next goal is important really. If we get it we're in for a comfortable time. We've been here before against these and lost 3-2 but that day it was Mane who ripped us apart, and of course he's ours now :).
