 Liverpool make five changes for this afternoon’s Premier League fixture with Chelsea at Anfield.

Daniel Sturridge and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain come into the Reds’ three-man attack, while James Milner and Simon Mignolet also start.

Meanwhile, Joel Matip returns after recovering from a knock and Adam Lallana is named on the bench for the first time in 2017-18.

Dejan Lovren and Emre Can are ruled out of the fixture due to injury.

5-0 to the reds and Spurs continue to lose and we're in 3rd by the end of the day, lovely jubbly.

Although that wasn't the line-up I was expecting I must admit

Must admit a midfield of Milner (from the start), Henderson and Coutinho doesn't inspire me. Think we're going to lose the battle in the engine room and I'm not 100% sure we have the players up front to keep possession if we bypass it.

Very surprised to see Studge back in the starting line up given that Firmino is without a doubt the fittest player in the team. Less surprised to see Mane rested given he is recently back fron m an injury. I'm happy enough with the midfield and am glad to see Coutinho playing through the middle again. Just hope Studge and Ox both take their chances.

Well he is certainly keeping the team fresh and testing out the squad and personally, I am quite pleased to see him change it up a little bit.
As for predictions...Wow...this is always a super tricky one.
Any win anyhow would be fantastic
A loss would really present a difficult situation for the boss with the changes he has made.
Would be happy with a draw I reckon.

4-3-3 with Chamberlain in midfield and Coutinho back in the front three? I'd prefer that over Coutinho in the middle to be honest. He's a liability defensively and he was sh*te against Sevilla. Perhaps even Milner as the sitter and Henderson pushed a bit more forward? Henderson and Coutinho could be on to exploit the space in the halfspaces.

Chelsea without Fabregas and Pedro too, so only Hazard and Morata as creative players on the pitch for them. Draw on the cards? Predicted a 2-2 draw myself, but this should be a really interesting game. Both Chamberlain and Sturridge getting a shot in a big game, let's hope they deliver.

With Mane, Lallana and Firmino we have plenty of game changers on the bench though!
