      Wish list?

GK who can command his box and organise his back four.

A centre half who can read the game and defend to some extent.

A centre midfielder who wont shy away and will stand up and be counted when it matters most.

A natural finisher, somebody guaranteed 20 a season.

I'd say we've got a guaranteed 20 a season in Salah already mate. He might even get the golden boot if he carries on.

Yeah it would be nice to have bobby behind a front 3 of Mane, Salah and a prober goal machine.

I can't help thinking what this team would be like with Luis in it or even Aubameyang.

It could be a whole nother level of devastation.

Lots of people seem to mention Aubameyang, but how often do most of you guys watch him on a regularly basis? I know a Dortmund season ticket holder who says he is way overrated and the majorty was hoping he'd f**k off to PSG in the summer.

Are we genuinely linked with players are is all just speculation? Can see that Lemar rumour resurfaced this morning, but I'm sure he'll probably go to Arsenal.

Abuameyang & Van Dijk in January, you'd have to pinch me.

Why would you assume he would go to Arsenal...money was on the table for him on deadline day and he came out and said he did not want Arsenal..that's why he's still at Monaco.

Just can't see it happening. Have a hunch that's all.

I'd rather be throwing £80m at two positions rather than another attacking option for Lemar. Admittedly, I've not seen him play that many times in real time.

You add Lemar to replace Coutinho; bring in VVD and pick up another front man and keep everybody else and we are looking good considering a mid-field of Keita-Lemar- (Choose one Hendo, AOC, Lallana, Gini, Gruijc).

      Clyne/TAA      Matip   VVD     Moreno/Robertson

                                Henderson/Keita

        Lemar/Lallana/Gini/AOC            Keita/Lallana/Gini/AOC

                    Salah             Firmino          Mane

He does miss a lot of chances, his off field attitude and love of bling doesn't help him

A CB. Never thought that would be more urgent than replacing Migs, but needs must.

      Just an idea,

We need creative top quality individuals who can bolster our squad yes ?

So how about we go and take Jack Wilshere out of his miserable Arsenal existence ?
I reckon he'd snatch our hands off...seriously...he's still only 25 has vast experience in the Epl and will be elegible for  the CL..  you could argue he's a bit injury prone but with Jürgen's rotational merry go round it could suit Jack and us ideally....we could get him for f**k all too cos i believe his contract is up at the Emirates......

      Thought's  please ?

Might as well call us Arsenal 2.0.. we already have their expectations so why not just fill the squad with their average players  :f_tongueincheek:

Wilshire is average, but I'd take Ozil in a heartbeat.  My January wishlist would be to sell Coutinho (125M) and use the money to sign VVD (75M), Ozil (25M), and Goretzka (25M).  With Can on his way for free at the end of the season, this gives us replacements for Sakho, Coutinho, and Can without having to spend any of our kitty -- we've got to have about a 200M warchest built up by now.... 😕

We should try and hold coutinho until the end of the season. If Lemar is his replacement, what is he like as a player? A direct replacement?

How about we just keep telling Barca to f**k off and keep Coutinho. No matter how much we get for him, our team will be worse without him!

Long list of players I would like to leave though: Mignolet, Flanagan, Lovren, Can, Markovic, Ings and Sturridge.

Bring in a top goalkeeper, a top centre half and a defensive midfielder.

Come on lads we all know quite well nobody's coming in January seems a waste getting your hopes up just try enjoying the thought of six more months of the mighty Lovren in the heart of our defence.

Not for me, too injury prone.
Would steer clear of Ozil too, bit too much of a fancy dan.
Sanchez I'd consider, though we've a fair few similar players to him.

I'd go for Rakitic as part of a money/swap deal for Cou.

No, we need top quality defenders and keeper, not Jack Wilshere who tries fighting nippers in an U23 match.
