Absolute joke the way this lad has been treated. A world class player but completely under used and under appreciated. Klopp never had a plan for him, and I believe Sturridge responded to that by not putting in his 100%. Especially this recent injury. Most likely self preservation while he hopes for a transfer.

Best of luck to him. Be interesting to see him at a club that uses a class striker.

He should have been moved on about 2 seasons ago. If he can stay fit then he might suit a bottom half of table team.

Surely they can’t get a fee for Studge? He’s in 150k per week and he’s available on a free come the summer and he is the most injury prone player in the league. I think we’d struggle to get someone to take him on a full pay loan. Not saying he couldn’t do a good job for someone, I could see him at somewhere like Watford working with Marco Silva. In the mean time if he can get fit CMs stay fit I reckon he’ll still contribute with a few goals.

His pace has gone, and it looks like hes almost scared to run now incase he gets injured. Even Harry Kane looks a quicker player now. But hes still a natural finisher. I'm in 2 minds whether its best for us to keep or sell in this window.

Probably would be best to swap him for either Mahrez or Lanzini.

I've been watching Liverpool for over 30 years, Sturridge is up their as one the best finishers I've seen in a red shirt, no exaggeration! Sadly his best days are behind him.
He can still be a fantastic player at another club, but his time with us is over. If it wasn't for injuries he would be one of our greats!

I don't know what Klopp and LFC have to pay for keeping Sturridge after end of last season but I have to pay a carton of beer to my friend as I bet him Sturridge leaving for sure end of last season but he didn't

Just imagine we sale or release him and get (example) someone like Vardy in as plan B last summer that's not too bad isn't it?

Anyway I think last summer it's not Klopp want to keep him but no one want him or those clubs cannot pay his wage.

Nothing hate toward Daniel but enough of his injuries. If Nostradamus or Paul the Octopus or whoever the F**k has restore of life and say LFC keep Sturridge until next season and we will win the league I still choose to release him for free today.

Me too, don't think there is a team out there that would take him off us for 30 million with his history of injuries. To be fair, we would be crazy to spend that money on a player who is injury plagued like he is. 15-20 million, take it and run, think we brought him for 14 million ??
I will never forget that 2013/2014 season with him just scoring goal after goal. Incredible striker when he is fit.
