What for, keeping the bench warm or making sure the Physio has something to do?
because it says on Pysioroom he will be available from 22nd and I am fedup of seeing Solanke turn into Borini, additionally I have about as much confidence in Ings as I did Ricky Lambert. I would get rid of Sturridge in the summer for sure.

Wouldn't sell anyone else this window

      Agree.

Anymore departures can happen after we bring more troops in.

If Sturridge goes we may even end up using players from reserves in some games, Woodburn doesn't look to be getting loaned out, so it is unlikely we are signing a replacement for Coutinho in this window.

Why, its not like he's a key player for us, you more than likely will never see him again as he's mostly injured anyway.

In the case of Sturridge does it really make much difference though, isn't he currently injured again?

      For me it does.

If the worst happened and Bobbie got injured I would much rather have Danny to step in than a raw kid in Solanke or an average Premier League player in Ings.

Sturridge is a top level centre forward and you don't let them leave unless you have adequate cover already in the squad.

Don’t sell him without a replacement.

I can’t believe what has happened to Sturridge, he was my fav player. Literally has disappeared off the map.

On what basis is he a top level centre forward CURRENTLY. If he really is then you must think Klopp is a F***ing moron for not playing him more. Also please answer the question as to why not a single club in the world is making enquiries about signing him, because surely £20 million for a top level centre forward is not that expensive, is it?

The reality is that he WAS a very good centre forward for one maybe two season for us but he has been severely hampered by injuries plus an inability to play through injuries. These days he is to slow, he doesn't press enough for Klopp and he has lost his sharpness on the few occasions he has played recently.
I would pick Solanke over him every single time, Solanke is the future, Sturridge is the past.

Was linked with Spurs in the summer. Fits our bill as a versatile forward. Worth a punt I guess

Has said he'd prefer a move to Sevilla rather than Inter.

Wouldn't bother me if we did sell him this window as every time he has played he hasn't done much and again has probably spent more time on injured list.

I think we all pretty much agree that a fit and firing Sturridge is as good a finisher as anyone. But he is rarely fit, and as a result when he is fit he gets little game time (because he is not fit and firing). On his contribution over the last 12 months he is not a great loss if he leaves, which is a pity because he is such a naturally gifted goalscorer it is a shame the way his career has gone.

Also because of his fairness issues, I can't see him ever being a full Klopp player, he looks too tentative when he has played this year.

Best for everyone if he moves on (hopefully abroad) and I would wish him the best of luck in the future.

Totally against letting him go without a replacement.

Not sure how many people are realising how far away from a real crisis we are if Bobby and Ox get injured.

Don't think he can be relied upon anymore so even if he stays I agree with your sentiment we could do with another forward.

Exactly we are far, very far away from a crisis. If Bobby and/or Ox get injured they would more than likely join Sturridge in the treatment room anyway. We do however have quite a few other players who could step in and fill the gaps, we do after all have quite a few midfielders and attacking talent so in seriousness, no panic, relax.

He's been a crock for his previous clubs ... then us.

He surfed on Luis' wave. When Luis wasn't scoring himself he was providing assists for Sturridge.

Now Sturridge is desperate to get out of the door by month end because its World Cup year.
      Is he deluded ?

We don't want loan agreements with Seville or Milan. We want hard cash at the end of it as we will probably have another "injury" to cope with when he is out on loan.

Get shot of him once and for all FFS.
