Why is Milner playing on the left wing? Genuinely asking.
Whenever Milner plays, he does it. Constantly offering support to set up attacking moves on the left with Robertson (we've seen a few of these already this game) and exploiting the halfspace between the fullback, who has to come out, and the CB. It helps to get penetration in the box, but leaves us vulnerable in midfield if the other players don't pick up the right positions.
