      NB: Team no longer available

I won't be watching this game :( We need to progress without a replay and to get back on track after last Monday.

I’d prefer we play a stronger side than most of you have put up. Our FA Cup record has been poor under Klopp (he has yet to reach the 5th round) and this is our best chance of a trophy. I hope VVD, Salah, Ox and Mane all start. It’s not a game to throw someone like Henderson into. If he is isn’t going out on loan then young Woodbury surely needs to have some involvement. It might be worth a look at Ings up front, he looked sharp when he came on last week.

Yeah, it’s just that I don’t really see the need to play Migs, since I’m not into rotating keepers.

Agreed.  Not as if they need a rest (only reason would be to keep pressure off LK for a game) and LK needs to settle in and develop his confidence and his understanding with the defence.

Gone for a 3  1 win, for the Reds. Hopeful for early goals, to avoid our opponents from parking the bus.

Expect a result today and none of that 'magic of the FA Cup' bollocks.

It's dependant on who Klopp selects today to put the Baggies away. Last chance saloon for Sturridge.

Torn something hasn't he.  Unless it's a toenail then I'm not sure how little it will be.

Sturridge is available - not sure what is going on behind the scenes regarding a move away for him but it will be interesting to see if he gets used or not.

Would also have expected Solanke to have played in this but it looks like he has fell behind Ings in the pecking order now.  Either of them two lads need to get themselves on the scoresheet and get a bit of confidence because lets face it if they don't - if Firmino gets injured the wheels are coming off the second half of our season.

The only viable option we would have then would be to have Ox on one of the sides and to put one of Mane or Mo as the focal point.

Solankie has been very poor iMO and Ings has not showed anything after those vig injuries to suggest we can use them. That's why in my opinion it makes no sense to sell Sturridge with the real lack of depth in quality that would leave us with.

In the Summer i'd expect Sturride and Ings to be moved on and more reliable quality brought in. But to sell either of them now on top of Coutinho, and with nobody on the horizon? That can surely wait.

We have a bad history of results not going our way when a later kick off. I think it's going to be 1-1.

If he gives all of the first XI a rest somewhere over these next two matches, I wonder if now it means Woodburn will get a start where Lallana would have.

      Was thinking same.
There was a lot of hype around Woodburn, but we've hardly seen him. '
'FA Cup' + 'injury to starting CM' =  he has a chance to start
Not sure Jürgen trusts him enough yet in important games, will see...

No league cup so hopefully we give people a test before summer arrives. Really want to see Woodburn putting in a good graft today and steaking a claim as a starter in our rotation policy. Much rather Woodburn  than Lemar, who I'm almost certain will be Origi #2, just more expensive. Other than Andy Robertson, Aspas, Joe Cole, Morientes, Aqualani, Sahin and Dossena when have I been wrong?

Just hearing that we’ve never beaten West Brom in the fa cup.
Well today they have 6 of their first team suffering with flue.
No excuses then, time we righted that wrong and had a convincing win.
May change my prediction now I know they’ve been decimated with illness 😊

      Gone for a 3-1 here.

We have to get back to winning ways and this game should be a definite win.

Reason i've gone for West Brom to score one is that Mignolet is between the sticks.

I see. Well, the manager seems to like his backup to get a game now and then. He does some things different than "People hae always done them." Karius will be back on Tuesday.

This will be a horrible game. They will sit deep with 8/9 men behind the ball. We struggle, so it seems, to break down packed defenses.

We need an early goal, if not well then we will huff and puff, missing easy chances, labouring with no easy happy ending.

And if they get a corner last 10 minutes...then shut your eyes..

As many have said, it’s not gonna be a great game.
Hope klopp puts out a mostly strong team. Need to get back into a winning mentality.
      Going for a 2-1.
