Need to get this wrapped up immediately.

Just offer the £87 million asking price and get him in.

It's far too long since we've had a proper no1.

I thought 7KK7 said last week he's signed a new deal with a 200m buy out now?

      That’s Oblak.

Apparently Oblak hasn’t actually signed the new contract being spoke of last week. I’d rather him at his release clause than likely pay more for Alisson. I’ve not seen a lot of Alisson but I was far from impressed by him in the 2 games against us, especially the 2nd leg, he was all over the place. I wouldn’t say no to us signing him but my preferred options would be Oblak and then Donnarumma.

Well if Oblak hasn't signed a new contract then it's a no brainer to offer his current  £80 million release clause as he is the better keeper.

I know Allison had a mare against us in the first leg but I have to think if he's keeping Emerson off the Brazilian no1 spot he must be real quality.

I'd be happy with either. Can't comment on Donnarumma never watched him play.

Don’t think we’ll be able to touch Oblak. Figure it’s Allison, we will get raked over the coals by Roma but so be it, it isn’t my money.

Well we got the bargain of the century with Salah so I don't mind paying over the odds now to get a quality keeper in.

Apparently, he is on 25-30k P/W, but I wonder how much Atletico offered him for his new contract which he hasn't signed yet.

Well hell, that’s a perfect FSG signing then. They can offer him 50k per week!

Oblak or Allison , just pay whatever is needed to get either one signed asap, send a statement nice and early for next season. Seriously if its £90 million then just pay it, it will be worth it because it will sure up the defence and win us so many points.

Wow silly season really has kicked off early. Rather Oblak myself tbh...

      How did you guess? ;)

With you on Oblak though, chances are he would be cheaper if he hasn't signed the new contract. To be honest, we owe Roma big time so even if we paid 90mill for Alisson, I'd still feel like we owe them a bit

Just remember, they didn’t have to agree to the 40m for Mo.... 😎

Make this signing a priority. I'd happily sell both Mignolet & Karius to help fund some of it and use Danny Ward as our 2 next season.

Rather have Alisson over Oblak. The reasons are tactical and the former would fit into Jürgen's 'system' better than the latter.

Nowhere near as good a keeper but I do buy the rationale.....

Each to their own mate - I just think Oblak is an exceptional keeper and I’m not as convinced by Alisson........but his distribution IS significantly better.

As the great Roy Walker says “say what you see....”

Are there any stats comparing Oblak and Allison?

Well then perhaps we can get Keylor Navas then...

The only good thing about Navas is that he'd bring CL-winning experience, but that is it.

Better than what we have, and only 31! I wouldn't say no to him if we are to go for a new keeper.

OK if Allison would rather go there then we can buy Navos as I doubt he'll want to be #2, plus would probably relish not having an utter bellend like Ramos in front of him.
