It's amazing though the amount of criticism Mane was getting on here throughout the match that all of a sudden he was our only saviour for three points.

I wasn't disappointed with the substitution. It was the players - Gini and Chamberlain - who badly let us down.

And to be honest, I'm getting sick fed up of Gini completely failing to get into games. He doesn't even get into areas where he can challenge for the ball let alone touch the ball. It's as if he's shirking.
Mane was trying, and was still a better option than The Ox in attack... And I believe that with him on the pitch we had a better chance of scoring than with Ox,plus when you take that option away you invite the other team on to you, so as I said Ox/Gini for Milner and Can

For all the possession Spurs had in the second half they created F**k all. We had way better chances this game and if our front 3 were more clinical we could have killed that game in the first half.
Robbed by the ref and a bunch of divers yet again.

This is the Van Dijk I know though. Great most of the time but let down by the occasional loss of concentration. I actually think his partnership with Lovren is more complimentary than when hes with Matip but on that second pen contact or no contact he gives himself a problem letting the ball drop.

Our front 3 didn't fire today with Mabe checking back far too often and Firmino lost his touch completely. Salah with 2 goals but he also had 2 easy chances to slide his mates in which he over hit badly on both occasions.

His second goal though was a thing of beauty and deserved to take the points.

Lino took the spotlight in the end and his performance today suggested of a man itching for a sky game to take the limelight and push his career from the line to the middle.

F***ing hell, unbelievable seeing that angle :(
Where's VAR when you need it.
Not sure how the linesman is so sure it's a peno, the tit.
And with how the ref gave us F**k all in the first half, Jürgen has every right to be upset.

And if Ox had played like he's played most of the season you'd not be complaining. You're basing this on hindsight. At the time it was the right call to make.

He probably had a bet on Kane scoring a late penalty.

Not F**k Van Dijk but learn from mistakes. Even if that doesnt end up as a pen he has created himself a problem by letting the ball drop in a crowded area.

Yea, looks like one from there.
But from the other, there is no actual contact.

Lamela should be up for an Oscar.

We were good for a draw people, nothing else. I still wince when i see Lovren air kick the first penalty, with him around a point against a decent side isnt bad.

For all the pressure and possession they had they barely conjured up a clear gilt edge chance. Without the help of the referee and a freak goal by Wanyama he'd be a loser tonight and, in light of their defeat of Man Utd a few days earlier, his team would be called a bunch of bottlers...again.

To be fair they absolutely bossed the 2nd half and I thought it was inevitable that they would score. That 2nd half was the first time we've genuinely missed Coutinho. We didn't have anyone with the touch and trickery to buy us a few 2nd seconds to get up the pitch and get out of our half. We looked frinckin knackered. We tend to play in straight lines now that he is gone, we look god on the break but lack the guile and creativity we had before. Fingers crossed Lallana can find a way back to fitness. Having said that we should have been 2-3 ahead going into the break but final ball absolutely killed us.
