Genuinely believe Ox is more of a first choice than Lallana.  I don't know how this kind of thing affects Liverpool fans worldwide but I'd imagine for local fans this is a big no no.

Could be jumping to huge conclusions here but this kind of thing could start your journey to the exit.  We'll have to see.

Was laughing with glee and thinking what a tool when I saw Wilshere pulling off a similar stunt in his u23s game. The same standards apply here and to be honest I am a little shocked.

No excuse for that against a youngster, but clearly a frustration in him that his body isn't capable of doing what he used to.
Maybe he'll recover but I doubt it.

Really disappointing from him. Supposed to be one of the most professional players in our squad.
Didn't look to be a bad challenge from the other player either.
      Maybe it's the hair.

Looks to me like the defender  elbowed  him.

Still no excuse for that kind of reaction.

Not good. Can't behave like that but,  it is simply what it is, a man who lost his temper. He'll be punished for sure but,  the morality statements from fans need to chill a bit? . Almost political condemnation.. ;D

The embarrassment and punishment should suffice..

Silly thing to do but many explanations. Probably frustration due to his recent injuries etc. How many of us have snapped in the past? I'd hazard a guess and say all of us have. At least it doesn't affect his first team selection if and when he is ready.

Have to admit though, F**k that haircut off sharpish. I've never understood players who spend 30% of their on field time pushing their hair back with their fingers? What the F**k is all that about? Aquilani, Berger, Torres, Macherano  :f_tongueincheek:

We need someone with that attitude in the first team...maybe he's trying to become a hard man?

Don't care so much about his reaction...it happens and I didn't watch the game to see if there was any kind of reason for it over the top or not. But I agree with most everyone else....the real crime is that hair.

Personally I am disqualified from commenting on his hair as the result would inevitably see me accused of Mane-us Envy.  ;D xxxxx:action-smiley-065:

Some serious over reactions in this thread. It was a flashpoint moment nothing more for me obviously he was either provoked or hurt by the lad. The fact the other lad is playing u23 doesn't make him a shrinking violet exempt from cuntery.

      Same mate

I didn't see the game but was he being targeted as the 'name' in the game? Getting needled all game

Either way he snapped liked plenty others have before and plenty will again

We need him back fit, he was the type we needed against spurs coming on in midfield to retain the ball. Sooner he's back the better

As for the moaning about his haircut... it's a haircut, his personal choice
Let it go there's far more to worry about than a lads haircut.

Sorry but no, a flashpoint is maybe a bit of shouting or shoving, not trying to twist someones bloody head off!

To answer your questions mate - no, not at all.

They were just younger, fresher and more energetic and buzzing all over him.

To my eyes - as an admirer of Adam - I think he struggled enormously.

Probably just sharpness but he looked so far off I wouldn’t factor him in as being anywhere near up to speed before Easter.

Disagree with the unwarranted drama in your observation around twisting his head off.
