Even though I am enjoying the front 3.....

I worry that once  they become at the top of their level the usual clubs come calling.  And they always want to move on just as they are peaking....

Salah will be gone within 2 seasons, but I think Firmino and Mane will be here a lot longer.

I agree on Salah.  I think firmino would go also.. (South American and all that)

To keep your top players, you have to invest heavily in other top players to compliment the ones you have, snd move to another level collectively. That’s when you start to win trophies. Thats when more top players want to join you.
There isn’t s club ‘ANYWHERE’ that has two or three top top players who can keep them, and play them with mediocre players season after season !
Serious investment in additional players is the answer to keeping the ones you have, but it has to happen quickly. Two or three seasons for top players without trophies is as much as you’ll get.
As soon as the clubs who compete on a regular basis in cup finals, and championships come calling, they will want to move.
We have clearly suffered from this scenario on too many occasions.
Will we ever learn ?
I think we are getting better, but not sure if we are acting fast enough to take the side from good to great before the top players get restless feet ?

It really is that simple. Alongside adding a few more top level players to go with them.

Wednesday's 5-0 win over Porto will have turned a few potential players heads not only across Europe but across the world.
Top players who probably didn't have a move to Liverpool on their mind will now be fully aware of our manager, our squad, our fans and our ambitions.
Some may say that's a mercenary attitude to have but that's only true if we bow down to the agents who dictate the ridiculous weekly wage for the player. Sanchez and Pogba being a perfect example.

The overriding beauty about our front three is that they all want to play for Liverpool.
Mo Salah loves it here as does Bobby and Sadio and long may that last.

If, we draw Bayern or Real in the next round of the Champions League and we beat them, which we are more than capable of doing the stakes get higher and higher.
Success breeds success and the sooner we start winning trophies on a regular basis the pull of the Anfield magnet will get stronger.

And, let's face it, we've got the most charismatic manager on the planet..who wouldn't want to play for him?

Yep.

We will always sign good, potentially great players, but we'll never be a PSG, a Man City, a Barcelona under FSG.

Only a fool would think otherwise.

Win all the domestic Cups and the Title next season, plus the next two CL (this one and the next) then  the title and at least achieving the semi's in the next three Champions League...

If they go, they go. They will be replaced. Just enjoy them while they're here, it's been a long time since we've been blowing teams away.

Money, success and the weather.

We can't compete on two of the fronts due to a combination of our owners and our latitude.  Let's see what we can manage with the success front.

Realistically though, the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid would probably turn the heads of every South American football in the Premier League.  The likes of Man City are just as, if not more, susceptible to this than us.

Disagree slightly with City, they do have the finances to pretty much tell both clubs to F**k off if they went sniffing around any City player.
