It still annoys me that Michael Owen gets invited to these gigs after he joined United and constantly refers to them as "we" when on BT. c**t.

What makes it worse is the tw*t didn't want to know us when he was leaving Newcastle.Compare Owen to the likes of Billy Liddell,Bob Paisley,Ronnie Moran,Roy Evans and lots of other one club men, they were the true LEGENDS in my opinion.

There are many true legends Billy and we know who they all are.

      Owen is another Sanchez.

Not sure if Dirk has played back at Anfield since he left .... but either way I hope we give him the biggest welcome possible.

A true servant to this club ... a real grafter and it was sad to see him leave in the close season when we couldn't say a proper ta-ra to the lad.
Now we have a chance to show him what he meant to us......  and one for Alonso as well.

Owen was class for us but always amazes me how he gets in on these things. Surely he waived all rights to be part of this...yet there he is, again.

Him aside, should be a good match, shame we can’t rewind the age clock and get a load of them back again.

I don't mind Owen getting involved in these things. I really don't harbour any ill feeling towards Michael really...well not now at least! Him leaving for Real Madrid for a pittance and not giving Rafa a chance was probably the worst thing he did in his career (and he'd probably be the first to admit) as opposed to joining the Mancs in what was, let's be honest, the winter of his career. I guess it's easy for me to say that given that I idolised him growing up (I even watched England matches to see him and Gerrard score!) so admittedly my easy going attitude on Owen probably stems from that more than anything.

Regardless, a damn fine player he was. A wonderful natural finisher and his cool mentality in big games is something a lot of our players today (and with England) could learn from.

I will always respect him for his efforts for Liverpool and if I'm honest still like seeing the footage of his many goals, but i cannot and will not forgive him for signing for that f***in scum fested sh*t hole down there in Manky land, Never never never, to sign for them KNOWING what it would mean to those who idolized him is nothing short of the ultimate beytrayal and akin to stabbing your besty in the back, so for me he was and still is a Kunt of the highest order.
