      International friendly injury count
      Mar 23, 2018 08:02:54 pm
      8th minute. Joe Gomez

      ....

Pain in the arse these games. Would prefer they finished the real footy a week earlier.

Two friendlies 7 weeks before the end of the season? Stupid.

They'll not be content until all of our England players are crocked enough to miss a couple of months worth of games for us like usual.

Probably the worse Dutch team I have ever seen.

But reassuring to see Gini is not just invisible for Liverpool......

It frustrates me so much to see how much space he has to drive forward with the ball, or even pass it, but he just turns away!! Argh!

Rebuilding job for them now, struggling to qualify World Cup showed the state they are in at the moment.

Didn't look a bad, just looked like the way he landed.

If it wasn't for Qualifiers and Friendlies the season would finish at least two months earlier... Can't see why they don't play International post season

Yeah, when he went to the ground in the 4th minute part of me was wondering if he was thinking 'Sack this off.'

Especially with Ronnie Pat Butcher Koeman in charge they won't even make the next Euro's by the look of it

These international friendlies should only be for teams going to the World Cup.

Or at the very least, if a country is not going they should use fringe players. Do Scotland really need to see Robbo in action for these pointless games or could they give some young Scot a go.

I think Robbo probably is the "give some young Scot a go" option

Surely a lad playing in one of the biggest teams in Europe week in week out and performing at a very high standard with a massive end of the season ahead of him does not need to prove he is good enough to play for Scotland. I'll say that again. Scotland.

So that's Can, Gomez, Robertson and maybe Solanke (has an infection in his toe, but played the final 17 minutes for the England U21s and scored the winner) in doubt for Saturday's match. Understand Emre was hurt playing for us, not for them.

I don't think any of them have been ruled out per se, but Gomez in particular would surprise me if he is ready to go.

Here too, if giving a player like Robertson the day off to make sure he is ready for Man City next Wednesday, Jürgen HAS to do that. We should still be able to beat Palace with Moreno at left back (or with a midfield sans Emre Can).

But he has pushed himself in contention for a future captaincy role, so I'm sure he'll be happy with getting a game, plus from reports of the game one of the only players to come out of it with any credit.

I know I just have my Liverpool hat on and my heart is gets sore watching Moreno defend so want Robbo fit.

Joe to miss the next two games due to injury in completely un-necessary friendly games.

They really are a pain in the arras.
